Stayed here for 5 nights half board in Feb with the mrs. Hotel was more than expected, friendly staff, good food and drink. As we stayed out of season we didn't see much entertainment but can imagine this hotel being family oriented when busy. Only reason I haven't rated it 5 stars is because the heated indoor pool was shut possibly for maintenance whilst we were there and due to the weather the outdoor pools were too cold to go in.

Had a lovely week here in October 2014 with family which included four young children. Hotel very presentable and clean. Room was double bedroom with sofa bed for two more in living area. Little kitchenette which was handy even though we were all inclusive. Plenty of variety at breakfast and evening meal in the buffet and good choice of options for lunch and snacks from the cafe menu. Plenty of choice of swimming pools at this place including a fun kids pool and adult only pool. Outdoor pools are not heated and did take a bit of getting used to the cold water although the kids didn't seem that bothered by it! Small indoor pool and spa pool are heated. Pool towels available to borrow (only charged if you don't return them). The children enjoyed the play area, particularly the sunken trampoline and bouncy castle. Children's day time activities were on offer, our kids did t-shirt painting, some physical activities to win medals/certificates and mini golf competition. Children's mini disco on in the evening followed by other entertainment for all. Few minutes walk down to the beach and town for access to the rest of the island. Couldn't fault the hotel at all during our weekthere.

Viva Palma Nova is a fantastic, beautiful, welcoming, clean family oriented hotel. We stayed Self Catering for 1 week but are planning on returning All-Inclusive. All the hotel staff from the maids, chefs, waiters, receptionists and the superb entertainment staff are friendly, polite and go out their way to make your stay as stress free as possible. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are of a great standard with plenty of storage and cater perfectly for a family holiday; clean towels and sheets everyday, bins emptied everyday, floors brushed and mopped everyday. The hotel grounds are full of beautiful palms and shrubs that surround the pools and outdoor eating/entertaining areas. There are activities all day every hour from 10am right through to 9pm for the children and for the adults there is yoga, aqua aerobics, water polo, shooting and archery. Thank you Viva Palma Nova for a superb holiday, please keep up the good work and looking forward to staying again.
Summer months are the most popular for Majorca holidays due to the blue skies and sheer amount of sunshine. If you are coming to Palma Nova, you'll be going home with a lovely healthy bronzed tan!
If you want to visit in the cooler months you can still expect plenty of Mediterranean sunshine and temperatures around 20° Celsius but be aware that there may be a few rain showers.
