I stayed at Viva Palmanova from the 7th July 2015 for one week with my partner and our two children - 20 month old son and 9 week old daughter. We had the Roof top Terrace which was perfect for us due to being half shaded and the Jacuzzi which my son absolutely loved. The room/ terrace isn't exactly child friendly but any parent would know this and take the necessary precautions with wet floors and stairs etc to avoid accidents. I cannot fault our stay at all, there are three pools including a children's one with slides and a playground. The food was amazing and fresh with a different variety available most nights and the waiting on staff were very cheerful and kind regardless of how busy they were. I found the hotel and our Apartment to be clean and towels were changed everyday. The atmosphere was just what you want for a family holiday, lively during the day and quiet at night. No noise whatsoever after midnight. The entertainment was great and my son loved dancing at the Mini Disco which was on at 8pm every night. Any issues we took up with reception were dealt with straight away ( only with Jacuzzi) and was not a problem. The beach was a 5 minute walk and the Marineland a ten minute taxi ride to see the Dolphins. There was a family restaurant called the Godfathers with children's playground on the beachfront that we visited for dinner, very nice. Also a supermarket attached to the Hotel which sold all the baby essentials we needed which was very convenient. The only negative comment I can make would be with regards to the lifts - we had a double stroller and found it very difficult to get in and out of the lifts and it did occasionally close whilst trying to do so ( if someone had called it). They could do with modernising as they don't seem to have sensors. But after a while we perfected getting in and out as quick as possible and it didn't take away from a perfect holiday!!! Will definitely be returning next year 😁😁😁

We stayed here for one week with our five year old daughter. The holiday was excellent from start to finish. The room was spotless with a huge memory foam kingsize bed in the bedroom. They also left us breakfast in our room the night before our morning departure which was a welcome touch. There are several pools, with two of them suitable for young children (one has slides and a pirate ship). We loved the food and it was the best standard for all inclusive which we have ever had. At lunch time you can order from an a la carte menu in the outdoor restaurant which was absolutely delicious. I don't know why people are writing that there are not enough sun loungers. Whatever time we went out at, we were always able to get three sun loungers and the hotel provides towels which are changed three times a week. The surroundings are spotless and the guests do not leave their rubbish lying about, unlike other 'family' hotels which we have recently stayed in. You are close to the beach and shops. Even though it is minutes from Magaluf, the area is quiet and very family orientated. We have already decided to go back next year, as we were so impressed with this beautiful hotel and its friendly staff.

Modern, clean, big rooms, great breakfast, good location... Rooms are quite modern and nice as well as the balconies that every room has. I think it's worth paying some extra to have a pool view and not a view to the street. The wifi is free and works well in mostly parts in the building. The pool and its area are also nice, decluding the ridiculous system that prohibits to occupay chairs before 9 am. The breakfast is many-sided and has something for everybody, I've got absolutely nothing negative to sat about it. Location is good, nearby the beach and all the restaurants and shops - there is one market just downstairs of the building so its really easy to pick up some drinks and snacks to the room. I'd visit here again if I came back to the island of Mallorca!

A year on and we visited the hotel again with high expectations from our last visit. Before leaving we requested a room due to it work g for us last year.after arriving that room was taken but we would be able to move a week later in the middle of our holiday! We wanted tgat room as you would not be in the main corridors were the noise is very annoying. The second night I was bitten 4 times in bed that is in the lounge under the sofa. Next night twice. After looking around many people had the same sort of bite marks on legs and arms. I have never been bit before in my life. We did move rooms as I was not going to be eaten on holiday. The reviews on sun beds are correct the first week the hotel was full and clearly not enough to sun beds people were later on towels on the floor. The second week was a lot better and more sun beds were made available but they are replacing sun ends with a new cover and they are shocking the back just collapses on sat up level and you end up falling back so annoying. Again no reserving before 9am yet I saw towels put on beds at7.20am and not removed as implied in a letter you are given when you check in. One day they did remove them but what is the point in that. The food again was very nice and I feel for the waiters as there are not enough to during lunch time outside or for evening drinks. My review last year slated the evening entertainment. Again not much been done to improve. The staff do a fantastic job during the day with the kids and the pirate show at 8pm the kids love that but then the main show starts at 9.15 pm. Oh dear on night they get acts in it's good. Clowns, circus, magic but the other night they use there own entertainment staff who have been there all day and again they are not actors. They try but NO please Viva get pros in to do it the Viva team staff are good at what they do in the day. The water walkers are a good addition for the kids and the kids still love Bufo dance. Not sure I would go back again after the bites and the lack of improvement from last year but still reading the reviews of other hotels this one seems to do well.
