Just returned from a 1 week stay at Viva Palmanova for my 30th Birthday with my boyfriend and was very impressed with the hotel. Palma de Mallorca airport is approx 20 mins away and was roughly 35 euros in a taxi. We requsted a pool view room when booking and were not disappointed with the view, just perfect! We stayed in Room 4203 which got the sun on the balcony from morning until about lunch time but the other side of the hotel got the sun all afternoon until evening which I would have preferred. If you want to pay the extra money for a Royal Terrace room with the roof top balcony with jacuzzi then I would do it as they seemed to get the sun all day and looked perfect, couldn't help but wish I had one of those rooms which I would get next time I come to the hotel! The rooms are all apartments which have a separate bedroom, bathroom and living area with a small kitchen area with all the necessities where you can you cook if you wish. Only negative is that the hotel should provide each kitchen area with a fresh cloth or sponge to allow you to clean the dishes as the cutlery we had in our kitchen were very dirty! The hotel has 3 amazing pool areas and we spent the majority of the time at the adult only 'relax area' which has big 4 poster beds and a lovely pool but it was situated right next to the kids playground which wasnt very relaxing as it was noisy as you would expect! Apart from that I can't fault it! There is also an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa area, pool table, football pitch and evening entertainment every night for the kids and adults so there is plenty to keep everyone occupied. We didn't make use of the restaurant in the hotel as we went self catering so cant comment on the food but there is definitely plenty of places to eat nearby. We only had 1 drink in the hotel bar as soon as we arrived but was shocked at the price of the drinks so we just bought our supplies at the local supermarket. We couldnt believe how close Magaluf is to the hotel as you can't hear any noise but it's literally a couple of streets away if you fancy the party nightlife! The beach is only a 5 min walk away too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning in the future!

We stayed from 11th to 18th April 2015 on a self-catering basis. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids (5 and 3). Greeted at the hotel reception that is pristine with very friendly staff. The room was not ready but we were there early (~11am). However, the room was ready for 11:30ish so that's a quick turnaround. The rooms are very clean (stayed on ground floor) with the chambermaid service totally perfect. The kitchen facilities are basic but you get used to it very quickly. The bedroom has a wonderful bed. Not that we ever slept on it as the kids were on that - my wife and I were on the couch! :-( We had an excellent terraced garden that is very spacious. 1 minor gripe is that the corridors echo any sound quite a bit meaning some may find that a problem. There's a gym there that I like. It is well stacked with machines if that's your bag on holiday. The hotel has a great wifi (free) service, swimming pools for the kids with excellent slides. There is an over18's area which looked good (didn't get to use it though). Also there is a lovely little children's playground area that the kids really enjoyed. Indoor pool is also popular as the swimming pool was cold - to put it mildly!! In the evening there's a limited entertainment programme with the kids mini disco was very popular. However it is only once a week - maybe that can be expanded. Drinks are expensive compared to the local rates and can't comment on the food. However it seemed to go down well with other guests. Adjoining supermarket is far too expensive. Please shop around, hey they're building an Aldi around the corner! :-) Would definitely go back there again.

Food excellent plenty choice and good quality, meat. Breakfast buffet, lunch is to order and dinner buffet. Rooms a decent size and comfortable, we had to pay 4euro per night for a travel cot even though we booked the room for 1ad 1ch 1 infant. The balcony was huge great for the kids. We had a garden room. Pools great splash pool shallow enough for toddler. Great play area free bouncy castle, trampoline and play equipment. Good location in a quiet area but close enough to walk easily to Palma nova or magaluf. Entertainment ok but we did go out of season. A lot of Scandinavian guests and also the entertainment team but all spoke excellent English. Reception staff polite and helpful. Hotel clean and rooms done daily.
