On arrival we had to pay 50 Euros per person which we were not pre-warned about, which put a bit of a dampener on the start of the holiday. The hotel had only just reopened. The Pool bar didn't open whilst we were there and the sun beds had no mattresses (it was April so to be fair the season hadn't started). The rooms were fine, clean, a basic bathroom - the shower didn't stay at the right temperature though. The food was really nice. The bar was a little basic, plastic tables and chairs no doubt to prevent injuries as people fall over!. The pool was across the road from the hotel down stairs so was a bit of a pain, but no doubt when the bar is actually open it will be much better. Finally the hill and the stairs....... there is a reasonable climb up the hill to the road leading to the hotel, then lots of stairs, but you get used to it, and there were older people than us (pensioners) who seemed to manage. On the whole it was a nice hotel for the price. Food nice, clean and tidy. Just let down by the fleecing of 50 Euros per person and some facilities not being open. There only ever seems to be one receptionist so it's a very slow process to check in / out when a transfer coach arrives. The most annoying thing is that as we checked out we all got the deposit refunded immediately WITHOUT them even checking the room so what the point was exactly who knows?

We booked this holiday on a late deal as an all inclusive deal. We arrived at the hotel and it looked clean on arrival although rather bare. On check in we were asked for a 50€ deposit per person. This was something that we were not advised about and actually couldn't pay. As a result of not being able to pay they threatened that that they would lock us out of our room. We tried on separate occasions to speak to the manager about this and found that they were not around. We just ignored it and I guess we got lucky as nothing else happened as a result of not paying. The receptionist was really sad when telling us about the damage that was caused last year by guests, TVs in the pool, bathrooms broken and beds on the balcony and sick everywhere! She says she is ashamed to work there!! We paid for an upgraded room where we were told they would guarantee us a double, sea view and balcony. On arrival we had a twin room and soon discovered that double beds were IMPOSSIBLE at that hotel as they don't have them!! The hotel had recently been painted and had a few mod cons added to jazz the place up but they were very basic touches. Hotel stunk of paint and had lots of plaster dust lying around and paint Splashed on frames and floor. The water ran dirty from rusty pipes when the shower was turned on and we had ants in our room!! Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels given. Hotel was simply decorated with an array of plastic furniture I guess so that it limits the damage for future guests. Food was awful and poor choice and usually cold. We went to a bar each morning for breakfast (eastenders) staff fab there and food is good for the cheapness! Hotel is up a steep hill and central to the strip of magaluf and Palma as its directly in the middle of both. Drinks are served in cheap small soft plastic cups and is a 2 each limit per bar visit! Staff are not particularly helpful or friendly, guess they are fed up of disrespectful guests! Due to us arriving just after the hotel has re opened there was no entertainment organised and one evening a group of guests put some music on via a phone and speaker, we were told to turn it off and go outside now it had stopped raining, actually kicked out!! The hotel has 2 fair rides pretty much at its door and I'm led to believe it gets busy and noisy during the peak season. There are also people that come up from the bars during the day at the pool trying to sell you tickets and can become quite rude when you say no thanks! We asked the hotel for a pool net to play volley ball and were told impossible so we made our own with rope from around the pool! This hotel was literally only enjoyable for us due to the group of people we met there. I would hate to stay here during the season but was basic and ok for a quick bit of sunshine before things really got busy there! I guess for what we paid is what we got but for people paying full price during the peak season id think again!

Be warned! when you arrive at the hotel, you have to pay €50 per person as a deposit, so if you are on a budget take more Euros with you. The hotel itself was full of plastic furniture which made it look cheap. It is in the middle of being renovated and they hadn't even cleaned the paint off the floor in our room, there is no main lights in the room. the room we had had twin beds, but we paid for double and when we complained they said they didn't even have double beds. False advertising!. The food was ok, but we had to eat out a lot as it didn't look very appetising. the drinks you had drink out of small soft plastic cups. For those of you who aren't in the 18-30 club. Stay well away as the noise in the evening is terrible. we could actually hear the conversation from our bathroom of the couple who was staying above us. It is based on a steep hill, so a bit of a drag back to the hotel. the only good thing about this hotel, that it was close to the Eastenders pub which the staff made you feel welcomed. I am so glad that we hired a car, so that we didn't have stay at the hotel all the time. If you are 18-30 or single looking for a good time then this is the hotel for you, if you are a couple then I would think twice!
