Just arrived home from a 10 day break. 2 adults an 1 child. What a lovely hotel, The rooms were very clean with the cleaner coming 6 days a week changing towels and keeping it sparkling, although sometimes it was quite early in the morning. The hotel itself is modern and tidy and in beautiful surroundings. always clean even the pool toilets were never dirty. All the staff were super friendly and helpful including staff in the bar, reception, maintenance, animation team and restaurant staff. It is a beautiful location 10 minute walk to the beach cliff but another 15 minutes to get down the steep path. The hotel is quite isolated, there are a couple of free buses daily to the local beach El Arenal but need to be booked in advance Also a free bus to Palma a couple of days a week. There are a few local bars, shops and supermarket in walking distance. The food and drink was lovely with a lots of variety, a different theme every night in the restaurant. plenty of different drinks local spirits wine and larger. Kids can get slushy's and help themselves to fizzy pop or water. Snacks and ice cream is available in the bar from 10.30 until midnight. The entertainment on an evening was OK most nights not amazing but watchable, they often get outside performers in singing, dancing, snake shows etc. Also bingo, quizzes etc by the animation team between the mini disco and main the entertainment. Some shows were a bit poor (Cinderella by the animation team especially). Once a week they have a party outside around the pool which are so much fun. with a market and zorbing and much more. The animation team work 6 days a week so no kids club or mini disco on Saturdays. i'd recommend possibly changing half of the animation teams day off so something was available on Saturday even if it is limited. The other 6 days there is lots to do for all ages including aqua gym, stretching, archery, rifle shooting, ping pong, water polo, football, volleyball and more. The swimming pool is lovely although sometimes looked a bit dirty by the end of the day which is understandable with the number of people in it with sun cream washing off etc. The pool area was always clean washed and tidied daily. Although theirs lots of sun beds you can't always get a prime position. People did reserve sun beds although it said it's not permitted. we always managed to get some beds though or a table and chairs near the bar, no parasols are available but some beds are under large canopy's. We did a few excursions bookable at main reception. The pirate adventure was amazing the best show i'd ever seen, expensive but well worth it, we also did the pirate boat family trip which was OK but it rained really heavily as we got to the snorkeling spot so the sea was very dangerous. Our one complaint was the air conditioning didn't work in the room although it was cool in the room and never too hot as it had a cool fan setting on the heater. We did ask reception several times during our stay but it never got fixed with no explanation, quite a lot of guests were also saying the AC didn't work in their rooms but others said there AC was fine. Also i think it would be great if all guests got free WIFI I hope this review was helpful, everyone has different standards and opinions but we thought it was a fab hotel, we have stayed in a lot of 3/4 star all inclusive accommodation all over the world, this is by far the best in Europe that we have stayed in. Thank you we look forward to returning next year (we never return to a hotel we have stayed at before but the hotel Maoris is an exception)
