Deffiantly not a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star!!!!!! The hotel and rooms are very dated and dirty with stains on the carpets ceiling having patches of old nicatine stains, beds hard as rock, booked a double room but got 2 single beds pushed together, the shower was either freezing or boiling hot never a constant temperature!!! Maid and staff have one day off a week together in peak time leaving no kids club or entertainment surely should have a rota!! No umbrellas around the pool, not enough sunbeds pool was to small and overcrowded, pool was dirty and my little one and other children became ill from the pool water, the kids club is awful no imagination from the animation team, they put the children in the sun at the hottest time of the day painintg and colouring, no air conditioning in the hotel. The food was very rerepetitive and reused yes reused what was left over from the night before they resue the next day!!!!! No bottled water at the hotel which is shocking! All staff are very rude especially at reception they couldnt give a s**t about you, we actually flew home 3 days early because this hotel was so bad . No free wifi so we paid but the wifi is shocking never worked when we complained they didnt even attempt to fixit or even give us a refund. The wufi on the beach was free and 100 times better. No fridge or kettle in the rooms. We was told that the hotel was for kids all ages but our child is 3 and the kids club is for 4 and over. This is the worst hotel ever dont ever go here!!!!!!!!

My hubby and I went to this hotel as part of a promotional offer from another Ola hotel we were staying in while holidaying in Majorca. We were tempted to go as the resort we were in was a bit quiet and the Maioris is quite near Palma and there were a few sights there we wanted to see. What a disaster.....THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO VISIT. We intended to stay at the Maioris for 4 nights - staff at the Vistamar (where we had been staying) assured us the hotel was a 4 star hotel and as nice as the one we were in. It was a family hotel and not an adult only which we didn’t mind and instead of half board we would be all inclusive. It was advertised as having 3 pools – 2 adult and one for children and we were told there was an hourly courtesy bus to the beach. The staff at the Maioris were lovely but the hotel was definitely not. It was dated, shabby, dingy, dark, dirty, smelly and overcrowded. Both pools and the mini pool were full to over flowing with families and children (no adult only pool.) The sun beds were crammed together – row after row with barley an inch between them. For the short time I sat on one I felt like a battery hen and the only parasol was for the lifeguard. The courtesy bus to the beach was once a day and not every hour although there was a public service bus more frequently, and as the hotel is in the middle of a residential area there was little else around it. The restaurant was like a free for all in a school canteen, possibly due to the limited time slots for meals.....unusual for an all inclusive! When we checked in we were asked if we wanted a pool room or a quiet one. Our room was the most old fashioned, scuffed, shabby, grubby room ever – dusty surfaces, greasy marks on all the doors and a squashed fly in the wardrobe. No draws just a wardrobe and open shelves for our things. The head board was wooden with 2 dangerous plinth-like surrounds at head height and the bed felt gritty when you sat on it. The lifts were soaking wet and smelled of creosote and the corridors were filthy and smelly. Needless to say within a couple of hours we were out of there. It was obviously no surprise to the receptionist when I explained how unhappy I was with the hotel – her immediate reaction was to ask me if I wanted to return to our original hotel and assure me she understood the hotel had been completely miss-sold to us. The Vistamar paid for our return taxi (70Euros) and upgraded us to a suite/elite package when we got back for our inconvenience. I was totally shocked that they were promoting this hotel and couldn’t believe they had sent us to what I can only describe as an absolute s**t hole!
