My husband, 14 year old daughter & I stayed at the Condesa from 11th - 22nd Aug 2015. It was our 3rd year here and we still love it. It was great to catch up with some old faces who also holiday here every year - we had such a laugh! We arrived at 9:30pm and were greeted by Majid on reception. We didn't receive a glass of bubbly on arrival as in previous years but Majid checked us in very quickly & even showed us to our room (410). He checked everything was in order & that we were happy with it, which we were. He then said that from 10:15pm there will be food layed out in the main restaurant so we could eat following our journey. We had a fantastic view from our room of the pool area and the sea. Beds were reasonably comfy, air con was great and we experienced very little noise from neighbours and the corridors. We all slept really well. We never get sunbeds by the pool as we are beach people and much prefer to pay the €9 per day for sunbeds on the sand. The sunbed owners walk the beach every morning from 10am and on our 1st day we asked if any were free and were given a choice of 3. So we chose our preferred beds and reserved them for the duration of our stay. We enjoyed massages on the beach & banter with one of the looky-looky men (Al bling-bling) who calls everyone Del Boy. The hair braiding women were a bit of a pain as they would congregate on the steps of the Condesa that lead onto the beach and would beg for food & drinks. They were also very rude. This year we found the food quality in the main restaurant had improved considerably - last year we thought it had gone downhill a bit. However, in contrast, the food quality in the al a carte restaurant had slipped this year and the same menu stayed in place for our entire stay. We ate out on 3 nights (once at the port & twice at The Gurkhas). If you like Indian food then we highly recommend The Gurkhas restaurant. It is run by a lovely Nepalese man who remembered us from previous years. Lovely food & great service. It is situated next to Smith's bar just off the fish hook roundabout, a 5 minute walk from the Condesa. As usual the Happy Burger was fantastic. Endless burgers, hotdogs, chips, alphabites, popcorn chicken, nuggets and toasties served all day. We also loved the ice creams and slushies served there by a very happy chappy who was brilliant with the kids. The staff at the Condesa are great. The bar & restaurant staff work hard and are great fun. The maids do an amazing job around the hotel and kept our room clean & sand-free and our bed linen was changed regularly. If you want clean towels every day, simply leave the old ones on the floor. The only criticism about the room was the lack of a mirror over the dressing table. The only mirror in the room was on the wall opposite the bathroom door, which is a frosted glass shower door. This meant that if someone is using the mirror, they also get a view of someone else sitting on the loo! For this reason, we took it in turns to go up to the room to get showered & dressed every evening. This wouldn't be a problem if you're staying as a couple or have young children, but when travelling with teenagers & need a bit of privacy, doing it in shifts is the better option. The pools here are lovely and the kiddies pool with the chicken slides was as warm as a bath. Think this is proof that management listen to what customers are saying as for the past 2 years it was ice cold. We will be returning again next year but probably won't be booking through Thomson again. There were no Thomson staff at the airport, yet again. There was no one to tell us what coach we had to get on so my husband spent over half an hour walking up and down the rows of coaches asking each driver if they were going to the Condesa. Eventually we found our coach but the rep on that coach was German so we didn't have a clue what he was saying when he spoke over the mic. Thomson reps at the Condesa were friendly & helpful but they just weren't there very often. To summarise, our holiday here was brilliant and we recommend it to anyone with children of all ages as there's lots to do. It's great fun & the beach is beautiful. See you next year!

Just returned from 2 weeks at The Condesa with my husband, 2 year old daughter and my parents. Really mixed experiences! We arrived to be greeted by Majid on reception - a very rude, arrogant and I would say most unwelcoming receptionist I have ever met. Throughout our stay many guests found Majid extremely unhelpful, my husband and I are very well travelled & I have never experienced anyone like him worldwide. My advice to you would be to review your reception staff as Frances again very unhelpful and rude - we spoke to many guests and they all felt the same NOT GOOD. However beyond your reception staff everyone else we met did you proud. the cleaners brilliant & very honest, I lost a diamond ring and she found it for me & left on my bed side cabinet "fantastic". Toni who greeted us at your restaurant fantastic guy, very friendly & happy would do anything for you, the the true stars of your hotel were Salma & Salah. If I set up a hotel in Alcudia I would poach these two from you. Salah & Salma made our holiday nothing was too much trouble and our daughter fell in love with them both. My advice to you would be to get Majid & Frances off reception ASAP and replace with Salma & Salah, their customer service is outstanding they are an asset to your hotel. Rooms very very small but clean.Pool & beach beautiful but you need to sort the sunbeds out, you have signs everywhere saying you cannot hold sunbeds!!!!!!! Not only did the sunbeds get reserved at 7.30am the tables in the evening also got reserved. If you did not get up at 7am and down for dinner at 7pm forget it - you need to put into action what your signs say!!!!!! Food exceptional, something for everyone. The port & old town fab defo worth a visit! Drinks ok - massive queues, I hate queuing in lines for drinks but when you have paid almost £4k for 2 weeks for a baby & 2 adults you need to use the all inclusive, however we did go out a lot due to queues and sunbed issues.

The hotel was terrible. There was constantly smashed glass everywhere and there was children walking in it. Picture to prove. The pictures of the hotel were false and made the hotel better than what it was. We were told the hotel was adults only and when we got here there was more children than a school. We complained to our tompson rep who said it was our fault. We asked for a double bed in our room because there was two singles present. Once again help wasn't given. It was my honeymoon and I couldn't even make love to my wife for gods sake. The food was constantly cold and flies all over it. The entertainment was the worst I have ever seen. Very repetitive and appeared to be presented by people from the initial auditions to X factor. Complete rubbish... Please people research your holiday.... If you want a sun bed you had better get up at 0600 in the morning or you have no chance..... There is not enough.... Make sure you check the Childrens pool for poo as poo was regular seen floating about !! And all inclusive drinks package !! Well yeah wine, larger and Pop that's it really Would I come again no way..
