My partner, my toddler and I stayed in the apartments. We put the mattress of the sofa bed on the bedroom floor so we could enjoy the balcony in the evening when our child went to bed. The apartment was comfortable and it was lovely to have our beds made every day! It was great having a pool downstairs and the views from the balcony overlooking the bay were beautiful. The pirate ship in kids pool at the hotel were a winner with our child and it truly was a very fun pool to mess about in! The Beach and shops were only a minutes walk which was excellent. The Beach was well equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, pedalos and jet boats. We spent most evenings in one of the restaurants on the beach so we could relax whilst our child played on the beach. The only downfall was the loud music coming from the hotel behind us in the evening but it couldn't be helped. All in all the whole holiday was amazing and we'll definitely be back!

Had a one bed apartment 3 adults1 child.lovely clean room great facilities. Kitchen had everything you need very modern. Beds were comfortable but sofa beds were very hard. The views are lovely over pool and beach. The snack bar served really nice food and very reasonable. We could use the facilities in the hotel. Kids club was excellent and very well organized. Pool area in the hotel was a bit squashed but that's due to so many children in the club and parents stayed in this area. Pool in the apartments was very deep and a bit too much for the kids. Plenty of room on the rooftop at the hotel if you couldn't get a sun bed. Ten minute walk to town where there was some restaurants and bar's. Highly recommended for families with young children but might be a little boring for older teens. Very relaxing break with2 lovely beaches to choose.

Just returned from a weeks stay. This was the third time I have stayed at the hotel and previous visits were excellent. However I was extremely disapointed this time. Good points: The food is good, with lots of choice. Mexican night was particulary good. The staff in the resturant and bars work very hard and were friendly despite appearing very understaffed (they literally never stop). The maids were also great, and the hotel is very clean. The location right on the beach is great. We loved swimming in the sea as it was so calm and clear with lots of fish. Bad points: Firstly the reception staff. We are a family of 3 adults and had booked one of the premium rooms (which includes dvd player, fridge, kettle etc) we paid £300 extra for this upgrade. However upon checking in and going to our room we discovered it was what appeared to be a (very tiny) standard room with a kettle. Thats it. Yep £300 extra for a kettle. I dont even drink hot drinks! We complained at reception to be told that our room was defintely a premium room. Following a lengthy argument the hotel eventually offered us a different room which clearly was a premium room. The only problem was it only had two beds made up, with the third a sofa bed. We told reception this and they promised the bed would be made up straight away. 8 hours later and being very tired we gave up hope and I actually made my own bed with blankets found in the wardrobe. We again complained to reception and their response was that the maid had been and made the bed. Despite our protestation that it had been made by me, the reception staff more of less called us liars and shrugged their shoulders. Their whole attitude and professionalism stunk. We made a complaint to the hotel chain and tour operator (Jet2) and we have yet to have any form of apology for a very stressful first day of our holidays. The pool and bar area dont seem big enough to accomodate all the guests and getting a sunbed around the pool was impossible unless you queued up from 8.30am then ran. Yea RAN to grab one before the rest of the hoard beat you to it. We did this one morning before deciding not to embarrass ourselves anymore and spending the rest of the week on the awesome beach. Oh and not to sound like a snob but there seemed to be a lot of chavs this time. One of the things we previously liked about the miami was the other guests were just normal, polite people. Our stay this time was like Skegness with more sun. Chavs galore with feral kids running riot. All in all we wont be returning for a fourth visit, which is a shame as it was previously a great hotel. We would return to Es Canar though as it is a lovely resort with great beach and bars.

We just came back from this hotel/apartments yesterday, first i must say do not believe negative comments as this place was fab. We were staying at the apartments however we ate in the hotel as we paid for all inclusive when we got there. The apartments were 1st class there were 4 of us and a 2 year old and a baby. The apartment had full air condition as standard a must in the heat, it was lovely and clean and had everything you need. cleaners came every day and we got fresh towels very nice lady's as well. I have done all inclusive before in other hotels but the food here was way above anything i have had before, so lovely. All beer , wine soft drinks in the restaurant on tap staff were very nice and very helpful staff . there was so much choice even our 10 month old baby had a ball lol. The swimming pools were fab the kids had a great time with the water slides and fun area. The bars were great and we even got plates of biscuits every afternoon. There were ice lolly's and ice cream all day. I would go back tomorrow if i could, what a great place for a family holiday old and young alike. All that's left to say is roll on next year.
