Location

• Destination : Paradise! How do you get there? Well, after you land in Velena International Airport (MLE), a member of the hotel staff will greet you and guide you on either the waterborne ( via speedboat) or airborne (via seaplane) final leg of your journey, which is a wild 20 minute ride to get you to the resort!

• Totally off-grid! An entire island, with white sandy shores, shallow blue waters, reefs teeming with life, coconut trees swaying in the soft breeze all at the tips of your toes!

• Each room type was specifically designed to highlight the best parts of the island and truly immerse the guests in the tropicana lifestyle. Every room features frescoed verandas and porches with immaculate water views. Of, course, they are all accented with all necessary amenities such as:

Food & Drink

• Main Restaurant - You'll come to know this quite well as this is where you'll refer to for the generous continental buffet, featuring ethically sourced local produce as well as (very) fresh seafood prepared using traditional Maldivian, Indian and international cuisines!  

• Bar - The resident watering hole! Right next to the sandy beach so the waves crash and break at your toes, needless to say this is a prime sunset watching spot as well! Open throughout the day for all your alcoholic or non beveraging needs! Make sure you stay hydrated under the sun with your favourite cocktail!

Sports & Entertainment

• Dive right in - The resident coral reef all around the resort's perimeter has been carefully reserved and is one of the few remaining still teeming with life! If you have your divers license, the hotel organizes daily guided expeditions for you to explore the rich waters!

• Snorkelling - You don't need to be a bona-fide water baby or reef expert to enjoy the real life remake of shark tale! Grab your snorkel and fins from the diver's shack and doggy paddle no longer than 10 - 20 meters offshore, and simply admire from above!

• Serena Spa - A jolly built to relax and unwind would simply be incomplete without a visit (or two) to the spa! Treat your muscles after a long day of trying to find nemo over in the reefs, with a specialized massage treatment or indulge yourself with one of the many beauty treatments on offer instead!

• Water sports - Yep, you guessed it! These blue and tranquil waters are just begging to be sliced through with a jet ski! If you're less of an adrenaline seeker then you can always rent a paddle board and take yourself exploring! Fancy an arm workout? Try your hand at kitesurfing! There's something for everyone!

• Island Excursions - Immerse yourself into the local culture through the native communities that call this small piece of paradise, home. Instead you can always pop over into Male for the afternoon where its bustling vendor-lined streets make the perfect place for a cheeky mooch and some mandatory souveniring!

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.
If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
