Check out Aqua Fun Club or head to Palooza Land for a blend of both wet and dry attractions. We recommend the world-renowned Oasiria – a mix of adrenaline-filled slides, unique attractions and fantastic kid’s zones.

What's the food like in Marrakech?

With roots in African and Arabic cuisine and influences from as far as Spain and France, it’s no surprise that Moroccan food is vibrant and packed full of flavour. Traditional dishes such as tagine (an aromatic lamb stew cooked in a clay pot) and cous cous (tasty semolina served with meat or vegetables) can be found in almost any restaurant and are must-try dishes.

To really dive into Moroccan flavours, head to the street food market and take your pick from the amazing variety of dishes on offer. Some of our favourites include maakouda (a small fried potato snack served with spicy dipping sauce) and chebakia (flower-shaped sesame cookies served with honey).

Where’s the best nightlife in Marrakech?

Explore the busy bars and clubs that sit on and around Avenue Echouhada. For an amazing clubbing experience in Marrakech, we’d recommend VIP ROOM and Theatro – two of the top clubs in the area that host unbeatable and unforgettable events. If you prefer your nights to be spent in stylish bars, enjoy drinks with a view at SKY Bar or a bite to eat with belly dancing shows at Comptoir Darna. Djemma el-fna Square in the early evening features lantern-lined streets, live music and street performers – great for those who like to end their day with more laid-back entertainment.

    Things to do in Marrakech

    Visit a souk

You can’t holiday to Morocco without visiting a souk. A part of everyday life for the people of Marrakech, they’re the place to go for almost everything – food, clothes, literature, crafts – you name it, you’ll find it. Work your way through the labyrinth of stalls and don’t forget to test out your bartering skills to bag that bargain.

    Go to a Hammam

If you’re looking for a luxurious spa treatment, visit a Hammam. A place where the locals go weekly, you can enjoy relaxing treatments such as being scrubbed, massaged and unwind with a facemask – leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

    Jardin Majorelle

A stunning garden created by French painter Jaques Marjorelle. Here, you can wander down the pathways, passing bubbling streams and through the numerous gardens – finding a little spot of peace and quiet in the heart of a bustling city.

    Djemma el-fna Square

Sitting at the entrance to the city’s medina, this bustling square is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rows of street vendors and food stalls create maze-like streets and offer the perfect place to grab a souvenir. Around the square you’ll see street performers, live musicians, snake charmers and much more. With so much to do, you could easily spend the whole day here.

    Maison de la Photographie

One for the culture enthusiasts, this beautiful riad is a gallery of vintage Moroccan photography that shows what life was like in Morocco between 1870 and 1950. It's also got a lovely cafe on the rooftop so you can enjoy a refreshment whilst taking in city views.

    Saadian Tombs

Rediscovered in 1917, these tombs were designed to be a beautiful final resting place for many rulers of the Saadian dynasty. Today, the tombs are the only remnants left behind of this golden era. Each tomb is decorated with intricate carvings and unique mosaic tiling. A fantastic choice for history buffs.
