Good beech's - funny beech peddlers, they made us laugh and were selling only designer goods (they said) - some great places to eat - I suggest you try the local fish & potatoes wi mojo sauce - We went to some relaxed evening bars with live music and great cocktails - the weather was great and we got a tan - We had a day out on a coach trip, it was good but a little rushed - we used the public bus to Masca (amazing), it was great and had time for a good look around and some great food. All in all a top holiday

Useful Tips:

Read bus time tables carefully

It is a wonderful place. We go three times a year. Always to this destination. We have been going for past 10 years. Great for shopping, eating, fun for kids and adults. Bars and nightlife good too.

Useful Tips:

Timeshare touts on the negative side. They are not allowed anymore so are in disguise as tour and excursion promoters. They are just a pain when walking round. Its the usual go to a presentation for 90minuets thing promising you free money, cigarettes etc. You go to presentation then be prepared for hard sale. My advice is keep walking and saying NO! Even saying you own a timeshare doesn't work in getting rid of them these days.

Costa Adeje was great, I loved it all, some places need repainted but most of it was great, apartment block was great too. Sunset Harbour, very central and handy to everything.

Useful Tips:

The Yacht Cafe at the Harbour - food was fantastic, they have only started opening at night but OMG the Lobster on the special meal was out of this world. The beach bar down in the middle of Torviscas Beach is the best, owned by an Italian - privately owned. Watch out for the beautiful girl on the beach selling her beach wraps etc very good quality and good prices. Just watch the for the police. Also the Chinese Massage sellers are hassle, they constantly come around the beds on the beach asking for business - very annoying - oh ye the donut seller and fruit seller on the beach very good, you will hear the donut seller shouting for miles and the mellon is so juicy and sweet. Also go along to the fun pub near McDonalds the Karoke nights are great and entertainment is very good. Shopping is good too - pints of local bear Tropical etc 1 Euro - and food is cheap too far cheaper than Majorca. Go and see for yourself, I loved it. Will be going back.

We found this area lovely, plenty of shops and a nice shopping centre, we were near a beautiful sandy beach which had been made into a bay which was great for kids. There were lots of places to eat just off the beach and there was a shop to get drinks or snacks if you didnt want to eat at the cafe/resturants, if you went around the corner you came into torviscas which again was very nice and had a market there every week selling everything from handbags to wooden toys.

Useful Tips:

The excellent resturants/cafes, very good value for money. Some good bars where the nightly entertainment was good and of course the beach
