Do I need to quarantine when I arrive?

• Visitors may be required to test on arrival and isolate pending the results.

What testing requirements are in place?

• Vaccinated travellers do not need to show proof of a negative PCR test, but must show proof of vaccination with QR code. Unvaccinated visitors must present a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before departure, with a test certificate naming the facilitiy where the test was carried out. The test must have been carried out by a medical professional. Self-administered tests will not be accepted for entry to the United Arab Emirates. Visitors arriving in Dubai may need to take a further test on arrival and isolate pending the result. Those arriving in Abu Dhabi may need to obtain a 'Green Pass' on the AlHosn app. Passengers under the age of 12 travelling to Dubai or under the age of 16 travelling to Abu Dhabi are exempt from test requirements.

Do I need to prove my vaccination status elsewhere?

• Restrictions and procedures can change quickly and you may be asked to demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated or provide a negative PCR test to access shops, attractions, restaurants and public transport. Please check the FCDO page below for more information.

Do I need to fill in a Passenger Locator Form or similar?

• Yes. If you're travelling to Abu Dhabi, please make sure to fill in this Abu Dhabi Passenger Locator Form before you travel. If you're travelling to Dubai, please make sure to fill in this Dubai Passenger Locator Form and Dubai Quarantine Document before you travel. Please be aware that the requirements for this form vary by destination. For example, some destinations may require this to be filled in at a specific time before travel, and some may require a printed version. Please check the FCDO website below for more information.

Do I need to quarantine when I arrive?

• No, fully-vaccinated visitors do not need to quarantine on arrival. Unvaccinated visitors will not be allowed entry to the USA at this time, unless there is a reason for exemption. Please see the US Embassy websites for further details.

What testing requirements are in place?

• Fully-vaccinated passengers from the UK and those under 18 years of age who are travelling with these passengers, are now allowed to enter the USA. Fully-vaccinated travellers are advised to take a viral test 3 to 5 days before travel. Please check the CDC website for the latest information.
