Where to holiday based on your star sign…

Deciding where to go on your next holiday can be a difficult decision. But with the New Year fast approaching, we’ve matched some of our top destinations with each star sign to give you the place you NEED to visit in 2019… 

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Independent Aquarius like to lead the way when it comes to new ideas so an up-and-coming destination is an ideal choice. They like to be the first in their social circle to try new things and being able to voice their opinion to those who matter most means a lot to them. Aquarius also like to meet new people so holidays with social events are perfect. 

We recommend: Croatia – with sun-drenched beaches, lively clubs and medieval cities, Croatia is beginning to make its mark

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20) 

Pisces are known to be extremely friendly and as a result, they often find themselves in the company of people from a wide range of backgrounds. With a great fondness of the arts, a destination rich in culture will be well suited to this sign. As one of the wisest signs of the Zodiac, Pisces also love to explore places far away from home so a destination that has plenty to see and do is highly recommended… 

We recommend: Tel Aviv – a melting pot of history and culture, Tel Aviv is a mix of old and new with golden sands, historic sites and spectacular art

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Enthusiastic and outgoing, Aries love to be at the centre of it all so a beach break in the city is the perfect solution. Their determined nature means that they’ll live their holiday to the fullest and experience as much as they can so choosing a destination where there is plenty to do is a must.    

We recommend: Dubai – combining a cosmopolitan cityscape with great weather, pristine beaches and breathtaking buildings 

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

 The compassionate Taurus loves to be surrounded by beauty so a destination with Blue-Flag beaches, beautiful sunsets and beautiful buildings should do the trick. For those who love to self-indulge, a relaxed atmosphere is essential, not to mention a selection of great restaurants and beach-side bars…    

We recommend: Algarve – Imagine quiet sandy coves, quaint cobbled villages and glorious hospitality and you have a typical break in the Algarve

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini’s tend to bore easily so choosing a destination that will keep you busy is essential. Being one of the most optimistic signs in the Zodiac, Gemini are very open to trying new things so choose somewhere a bit further away from home so that you can really experience a new way of life.  

We recommend: Florida – home to attractions such as Disney World and Universal Studios, even the biggest of children won’t get bored here

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancer is known as the emotional sign in the Zodiac, so a family holiday or a romantic getaway is the perfect choice. Spending quality time with loved ones is what matters most to Cancer so choose a place where you can enjoy a relaxed and laid-back break and create unforgettable memories.  

We recommend: Rome – with history spanning thousands of years and plenty of museums, Rome is one of our most popular destinations for couples

Leo (July 23 – Aug 22)

The passionate and determined sign of the Zodiac, Leo knows exactly what they want and when they want it. A holiday with an itinerary is perfect as Leo are able to stick to a plan and do everything their way. Choose a destination with lots to do and close together so you don’t lose any time and fall behind your schedule.    

We recommend: Malta – often referred to as the island of sunshine, Malta boasts over 300 sunny days a year, amazing architecture and friendly locals  

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Due to their hardworking nature, Virgo are arguably the most deserving of the Zodiacs when it comes to a week or two in the sun. They have a methodical approach to life and nothing is left to chance so you can expect Virgo to book their beach break well in advance. To fully enjoy some time away from the office, we recommend a does of sun, sea and sand. 

We recommend: Tenerife – the ever-popular Canary Island sees visitors return year after year  

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Libra are the most peaceful of the Zodiac and so a quiet destination with a laid-back atmosphere is what we suggest. Their love of the outdoors means that they’ll spend hours exploring their new surroundings so choosing a holiday with breathtaking scenery is essential. 

We recommend: Santorini  – one of the most scenic destinations in Europe, Santorini boasts breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea 

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Scorpio are resilient and not afraid to throw themselves into new experiences so visiting a country with lots of tradition is the perfect fit. Due to their brave manner, they’re usually the first to put themselves forward for new challenges and aren’t afraid to venture completely out of their comfort zone. 

We recommend: Turkey – Turkish baths, bazaars and Blue Flag Beaches are just a handful of things that make Turkey the perfect beach destination

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

If there’s one sign that was born to travel, it’s Sagittarius. They love nothing more than jetting around the world and experiencing the new and now no matter how near or far that may be. Their curious side means that they often find themselves on a number of holidays throughout the year… 

We recommend: Marrakech – the perfect combination of old and new, enjoy trendy bars, peaceful retreats and breathtaking scenery

Capricorn (Dec 22 – January 19)

Capricorn are extremely patient and can spend months and months planning their dream holiday. With that said, they also prefer the slow paced life when relaxing and enjoy taking each day as it comes as opposed to planning what to do and when. Capricorn love spending time with loved ones so expect a big family holiday.  

We recommend: Majorca – with a short flight time, year-round sunshine and plenty of beaches, Majorca is a fan-favourite
