Latest visitor numbers from the Tunisian National Tourist Office reveal the North African holiday hot spot has experienced its best year to date for attracting sun seekers from Blighty.
In the first six months of 2013, Tunisia witnessed a huge 29% increase in holidaymakers, compared to the same time last year. During the peak season, August saw visitor numbers soar by a quarter.
Offering year round sunshine and beautiful coastal resorts, it’s no surprise Tunisia is a popular choice of holiday destination for many of us. These latest visitor numbers show that the country is fully recovered following the unrest a couple of years ago and is once again, renowned as a much loved holiday hot spot for us Brits.
