Want to stay ahead of the game when it comes to booking next year’s holiday? We’ve chosen our top 5 travel predictions for 2017 so take advantage and make sure you’re prepared before booking your next beach holiday…
All Inclusive
If you asked us to name one bad thing about choosing to go All Inclusive on your next holiday, we’d struggle. What could be better than making your final holiday payment knowing that you won’t have to spend a single penny once you arrive in your hotel?
With most hotels now offering a number of themed restaurants and the number of on site attractions increasing, we have a sneaky feeling that 2017 will be the year of All Inclusive…
Newer Resorts
Getting bored of sandy beaches and the sound of clear waters washing over your feet? Us neither. But if you do fancy travelling somewhere a little different in 2017, listen up. Gran Canaria is home to popular resorts such as Maspalomas and Playa Del Ingles but have you heard about Meloneras or Amadores?
If you’re hoping to travel a little further afield, why not enjoy a break to Cuba or Cancun?
Rise in Travel Apps
I think it’s safe to say that we’re all pretty obsessed with apps. Whether we love to keep updated with the latest news, keep track of how many steps we’ve taken in a day or just want to be alerted when our favourite restaurant has a great offer on – we’re guessing that travel apps will continue to grow in 2017.
Some of our favourites at the minute include FlightRadar24 which allows you to see what exact flights are passing overhead, XECurrency which keeps you updated with the latest exchange rates and Wolfram Sun Exposure which can calculate how long you should be spending in the sun based on your skin type.
Social Media
Social media continues to be, well, more social and 2016 was no different. It seemed like every time we’d check Facebook, or recieve a new Snapchat, it would be one of our pesky friends showing off their golden tans and tranquil surroundings… (we’re not jealous at all).
With the rise in video content across social media, we’re preparing ourselves to watch people live streaming their holidays via Facebook Live as well as frequent photo updates through Snapchat and the newly launched Instagram Stories.
Booking Early and Saving
Booking early really is the new last minute. Seriously. Why spend the run up to your beach holiday stressing about when you’ll have time to buy your sun cream when you can book way in advance AND save money?!
With our low deposits and flexible payment scheme, there’s never been a better time to book your 2017 beach holiday.
