There’s no denying that Turkey ticks all the boxes when it comes to blissful beach escapes. Enchanting emerald waters, crisp ever-stretching sands and a gloriously sunny climate. 1 – Experience some waterfall magic

Waterfalls. Wonderful and enchanting, we can’t deny we all love these truly magical natural settings. And Antalya holiday’s Duden waterfalls are no different! Wander through lush forested greenery until you reach the cliff face and vast turqouise-hued coastline. Watch in awe as gallons of water cascade down the steep rugged rocks from above and plunge into the twinkling ocean below. 2 – Grab yourself a bargain pint

Yep, you read that right. Turkey has a ridiculously low cost of living, and you know what that means? Cheaper pints! We did our research and found that as of 2022, Turkey is actually home to the cheapest pint in Europe – coming in at the equivalent of just £1.48(!!!). Now that’s the kind of stat we can get behind. Talk about a bargain! There are loads of bars dotted around if you’re looking for an evening tipple, not to mention restaurants where you can enjoy a nice cold one with your meal. So, whose round is it then?

3 – Visit the iconic Blue Lagoon

One of Turkey’s most admired (and most beautiful) attractions, the Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz is quite simply paradise. A masterpiece of mother nature, this idyllic lagoon simply oozes peace and tranquillity. Breathtaking whiter-than-white sands slope gently into gorgeously turquoise-tinted waters, overlooked by miles of fresh-forested trees, it’s like a scene from a dream. Jump in a paddleboat and head off sea turtle spotting. Take a hike along the mountainous hills for a birds-eye view of this unruly landscape or simply take it all in from the sands, the choice is yours.

4 – Haggle a bargain at Manavgat Market

Get a true taste for Turkish culture at this bustling local bazaar, where locals flock for a tasty bite to eat and a bargain hunt too. Get your haggle on and you might just walk away with a steal. As you wander around these crowded stalls, you’ll stumble upon the smell of real leather goods, fragrant fresh fruits and mouth-watering Turkish street food. Treat yourself to some hand-made jewellery or a traditional patterned tapestry, there’s plenty to choose from in these parts of town!

5 – See Side’s historic sites

Take a trip back in time and discover Side’s unsuspecting fascinating Greek history. From the incredible architecture of the Temple of Apollo to the huge Greek Amphitheatre with its many stone stairwells and crumbling rocky ruins. These little preserved pieces of history will transport you back thousands of years to what was once a thriving ancient Greek settlement. History buffs will be in their element here!

6 – Buckle up at the Land of Legends

Of course, one of Turkey’s most famous attractions, the incredible Land of Legends theme park, just has to make it on the list. This place will have your heart pumping with dramatic drops, twisting loops and white-knuckle rollercoasters… it’s an adrenaline junkie’s dream come true. If this all sounds a little too speedy for your liking, not to worry, there’s plenty more mellow rides to explore here too. Either way, this fantastic playground always guarantees a great day out.

7 – Journey on an underground adventure

Turkey’s marvellous Mediterranean coastline is home to the spectacular underground worlds of the Gilindire Cave. Embark on an unforgettable earthly experience as you venture down winding rocky steps that eventually open out into a vast mysterious cave. This stunning place is sure to amaze you with its astounding natural beauty. Spotlights guide the way as you stroll through intriguing rock formations and unique underground pathways. 8 – Take a Turkish bath

There’s no better way to get into the true Turkish spirit than by trying out the country’s signature spa treatment. Glamour always puts on a spectacular family show and has been dubbed many times as one of Hisaronu’s must-see attractions.
