It’s the world’s third largest ocean-island volcano and is still active! On clear days you can take the cable car to the summit and experience the breathtaking views, or, if you fancy a challenge, then dig out your walking boots and climb your way to the top.
Loro Parque
Perhaps you’re an animal lover? Loro Parque is the home to thousands of animals, ranging from parrots to chimpanzees. Located on the outskirts of Puerto De La Cruz you will never run out of things to see and do. Dolphin shows performed in Europe’s largest dolphin pool, Katandra Treetops, Thai Village and a magical kingdom, all waiting for you to explore. Loro Parque is a great family day out… just watch out for the sharks!
Totally beachin’
Calling all sun-seekers wanting to relax all day by the beach. Tenerife is the home to many beautiful beaches although you may be torn between the golden sand and the authentic black sand formed as a result of volcanic eruptions.
