Whether you escape to somewhere warm, stay local, or travel to as many as you can – Pride events are the highlight of the year! Although things have been put on hold recently, this doesn’t mean you can’t get excited for the events ahead. If you’re still deciding whether to jet off for a post-summer Pride somewhere warm – here are some of the upcoming Pride events that you should put in your calendar!
Ibiza Pride (10/09/21 – 18/09/21)
The stunning Balearic Island that’s world-famous for it’s nightlife, Ibiza Pride is one for the party lovers! Expect DJs, theatre performances, drag shows, film screenings and plenty of fun in the streets around Ibiza Town’s port area. Their Pride March will take place on Saturday 18th September in Ibiza Town (Eivissa) and will be on from 7pm until late and it’s definitely not one to miss. Those who don’t want the fun to end can find plenty of after-parties at Ibiza’s bars and clubs, including Lola’s in Ibiza Town!
Malta Pride (10/09/21 – 19/09/21)
Malta is currently the most LGBTQ+-friendly country in Europe, taking the top spot of the ILGA Europe Rainbow Index for the sixth year in a row! The Malta Pride March takes place in Valletta on 18th September with the incredible Pride Concert afterwards, as well as an official after-party from 11pm ’til late for those who want non-stop fun! That’s not all either, on Friday 17th September there’s an amazing Pre-Pride Party and there are plenty of educational, inspirational and unmissable events happening throughout the week running up to the Pride March – which start from the 10th September.
Miami Beach Pride (10/09/21 – 19/09/21)
Fancy jetting off a little further this year? Head to Miami for the brilliant and unbeatable Miami Beach Pride. Not only can you escape to the sizzling Florida heat, but Miami Beach Pride hosts an incredible line-up of parties, performances and conferences as well as a multi-day festival as part of their celebrations. So, put Miami Beach Pride in your diary and prepare for amazing DJ sets, performances from celebrity entertainers, parties until sunrise and a day-long parade that you won’t forget!
Maspalomas Winter Pride (05/11/21 – 14/11/21)
Escape to Gran Canaria this November for fun under the winter sun at Maspalomas Winter Pride. Get ready for amazing headliners, a fantastic Pride Walk and non-stop fun this winter to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride together. Maspalomas Pride is known for its unforgettable parties, with 2021 bringing events such as boat parties, BBQs, beach parties and pool parties, which are not to be missed!
