Looking and feeling great when on holiday often involves buying a few new items for the wardrobe.
It has been revealed that we spend on average a whopping £83 on clothes for our summer holiday and then never wear the items again!
The survey has found that despite women usually being named as the shopaholics, it’s actually men that waste the most money on summer clothes, splashing out on average £100 on clothes, which are then thrown away! The survey revealed the main reasons behind chucking out summer clothes were items shrinking, falling apart or fading, after being worn on just one summer holiday. We all know that sun-cream can sometimes turn our lovely white t-shirts a yellow colour!
It would be better to buy things you think you will wear year after year or, weather permitting, would wear throughout the British summer!
