It’s very important to double check on the laws of the holiday destination that we plan to visit.
It has been revealed, that a fifth of us don’t familiarise ourselves with foreign laws before we jet off on our holidays because we are only visiting!
More than half of us believe that foreign laws are relaxed for tourists, 24% of us don’t think to check and one in ten don’t plan on getting in trouble so don’t feel the need to read up on the laws.
Cultures differ greatly from country to country, as we all know, and many things that are acceptable in the UK may not be in other countries. Although many of us aren’t intending on breaking any laws, we think it is better to double check and stay safe rather than sorry!
