A leading airline has recently revealed it will be introducing nannies on flights, to help parents in the battle of keeping children happy at 35,000ft.
Acting as a much needed extra pair of hands for parents, the airline is expecting to employ 500 Norland approved nannies by the end of the year. The entertainment methods will vary for the different ages with painting, puppets, magic tricks and origami for the youngsters and quizzes and tours of the gallery for older children. The nannies are also expected to help serve children’s meals and to occupy the young jet setters when their parents tuck into their meals.
We are used to seeing ‘super nannies’ on TV but this airline is taking it one step further and offering support to parents on flights. This gives parents the chance to relax on the flight and get the best start to their holiday, so there’s no doubt parents around the world are willing more and more airlines to follow suit.
