A recent survey has revealed the most bizarre items left on a plane, including a number of forgotten pets such as a parrot, a falcon, a frog and a tortoise.
The survey of more than 700 international cabin crew also found items including a glass eye, dentures and a prosthetic leg, all of which could be considered somewhat essential. When it comes to the more usual travel items, one in four cabin crew say they have found a passport, which is even more than the 23% that have found a phone and 21% that have found a book, whilst clearing the cabin at the end of a flight.
We are all too familiar with that sinking feeling when realising we have left something behind, however it does beggars belief that people forget something as important as a pet or even part of their own body!
