Following the success of its ‘Fly Manchester’ campaigns across the West Midlands, Lancaster, Merseyside and Yorkshire, Manchester Airport has seen its sixteenth month of consecutive growth.
Last month alone, more than two million passengers travelled through Manchester Airport, more than a 5% increase on last year. Many of the airlines serving the airport, have already announced new routes for summer 2014, which will no doubt increase Manchester Airport’s growth even more.
With travellers continuing to flock to Manchester Airport and even more routes to be added to next year’s services, 2014 is set to be a bumper year for the UK’s third busiest airport. Regional travel is becoming increasingly popular, with many airports now offering numerous routes at competitive prices. Flying from closer to home eases stress and makes travelling more accessible for all, especially those families attempting to take their youngsters overseas.
