British holidaymakers loosen the purse strings
This week, a poll of nearly 3,000 people revealed that holidaymakers are loosening their purse strings and are planning more holidays in the sun next year.
The survey found that the number of people budgeting £900 or more per person on holidays has increased by 10% this year and those budgeting between £900 and £1500 has also risen by 16%.
The results of the survey also showed that Brits are planning on treating themselves to three or more holidays in 2013.
We say; “After a difficult few years’ with most of us having to keep a close eye on our spending, it’s encouraging to hear that things are finally getting better. However, whilst people are considering spending more on their holidays next year, it’s important that holidaymakers make sure they are getting real value for money. For those looking to grab the best deals, we would advise them to book early.”
