During the party season, Ibiza’s main attractions are living, breathing and record-spinning. For nights where every track becomes the anthem to your summer, these are the people to get the party pumping:
Sasha – progressive trance/ progressive house
With several residencies on the White Isle, Sasha is seen as one of the world’s most innovative icons of the electronic genre. His musical offerings are described as ‘progressive trance’, but with a blend of house and break-beat. Famous for catapulting British dance music into New York and beyond, he plays modern club anthems like Trancesetters Roaches and Trisco’s Muzak.

Seth Troxler
Seth Troxler – Techno
Transmitting warm heady house and techno music to adoring crowds, Seth Troxler’s been into his music genre since the age of eight and knows his stuff. He’s considered one of the world’s best DJs but has maintained his underground flair, and has been known to surprise clubbers with tracks from the likes of Analog Solutions and Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir.

Julio Bashmore – House
He’s fresh Bristol talent with an impressive knowledge of American house music and a brilliantly skewed way of presenting it to the crowds. Julio Bashmore has produced on labels such as Dirty Bird, Soul Motive and Ten Thousand Yen. He’s also created an Essential Mix for the BBC and had a hit in 2011 with Battle for Middle You. His sets can bounce from garage courtesy of ‘Footsteppin’, to a crazy Mosca remix with all sorts of treats in between.

David Guetta
David Guetta – Commercial
A proper superstar DJ. David Guetta’s night ‘F**k me I’m famous’ at Pacha is one of Ibiza’s best-known parties and the French music producer has many successful albums and singles under his belt: he’s sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide, including Sexy Chick (featuring Akon) and When Love Takes Over (featuring Kelly Rowland).

Armin Van Buuren - Trance
This DJ is one mixer who’s well and truly in demand. Armin Van Buuren’s weekly nights at Privilege last year were huge and he’s set to return to the club’s main room this year. Armin has been keeping trance alive via a weekly radio show – A State Of Trance – that boasts dedicated listeners across 30 countries, but this won’t make his comeback to Ibiza’s party season any less anticipated. Armin will be hosting the A State Of Trance Opening Party at Privilege.

Carl Cox
Carl Cox – Techno
Carl Cox’s 12th year at Ibiza is set to be celebrated with 12 parties. These events, called 12 Nights of The Revolution – The Party Unites!, are likely to be choc-a-block with huge-name DJs as this record-spinning giant rallies the troops, but what about the man himself? Carl Cox is a master of techno, although he did dabble in rare groove, New York hip-hop and electro when he started out. He’s got a reputation for three-deck sorcery and his collaboration with the Ibiza clubbing scene has led to some of the island’s most popular nights.
