Good news if you’re jetting off to one of our most popular summer holiday destinations – research has revealed that they offer the best value car hire.
The Post Office calculated the cost of a week’s basic car rental, excess waiver insurance, additional driver and a full tank of petrol and found Bulgaria, Malta, Corfu and Crete offered the cheapest rates.
At the other end of the scale, Norway was the most expensive destination, with the total cost hitting a whopping £592.
