That’s right, we can finally reveal the winner of our Dream Beach Holiday competition! If you missed it, we asked bloggers to create their own Pinterest board to show off their dream beach. The response was amazing, and showed us just how diverse you lot like your beaches – we’ve seen sand and shingle, palm trees and seaweed, caves and harbours, and
even the odd rock pool!

She describes her ideal beach holiday as “amazing food, the sun on my skin, miles of coastline, a boat trip around the island to find secluded coves and a chance to put my feet up and relax with my fiancé.” Sounds dreamy to us, too!
Everybody has a different idea of what they want from a beach holiday. For some people, it’s all about the sun, sea and sand – lying back with a good book, snoozing under a parasol, and feeling the sea breeze in your hair. For others, it’s more of an adventure – diving, surfing, exploring caves and catching fish is all part of the experience.
Of course, any seaside town is likely to have fresh fish in plentiful supply, and wherever in the world you visit you’re bound to learn that the coast is the best way to taste truly local produce. Likewise, the laid-back nature of seaside living means a chilled out, cheerful drinking culture too – so whether you fancy cocktails on the terrace or a taste of the local wine, you’re headed for luxury.
