Tipped as the next hottest holiday spot, Croatia has experienced a huge surge in holidaymakers from Blighty, with year on year figures up almost 25%, according to the country’s tourist board.
Reasons for this surge in sun seekers include new routes on offer from low cost airlines. There has also been a huge increase in younger travellers heading to Croatia and enjoying the mix of sun, sand and music festivals, with the country now hosting a huge twenty music festivals throughout the year.
Croatia boasts beautiful beaches and towns oozing with culture, so it is only a matter of time before more and more people jet off to discover all Croatia has to offer. With young travellers heading to its shores in their droves, this bodes well for future tourism as many will return year after year with their families, after falling in love with the country.
