But it isn’t just clubs and parties that attract us to this part of the Black Sea coast, Sunny Beach boasts soft golden sands and plenty of loungers for a day of sunbathing. In the northern province of Varna, Golden Sands beach holds a Blue Flag certification making it great for families. The name says it all really, you can wander along the sparkling sands or dip into the refreshing waters. A popular yet more peaceful choice of shore.
Marina Dinevi Beach
Another Blue Flag awarded beach, Marina Dinevi Beach lies next to the harbour in St Vlas. This area is known for its luxury lifestyle, so whilst you’re relaxing on the soft sands of the beachfront, you may spot a yacht or two coming in to dock.
Kara Dere Beach
Take a trip off the beaten track to Kara Dere Beach. Located between Varna and Sunny Beach, this tranquil coast is perfect for an adventure through the wild to find a piece of heaven. With no sun loungers, bars or shops, all you need is a picnic and your swimsuit on this free-spirited beach.
