Located around 8km outside of the centre of Marmaris, Icmeler is one of Turkey’s most popular beaches. Recognised for its peaceful and generally laid back vibe, the beach still hosts its fair share of watersports including banana boats, paragliding and water-skiing.
There are also plenty of nearby places to sample some traditional Turkish cuisine including the popular Golden Moon Champagne House.

Legend has it that Cleopatra’s Beach was one of Queen Cleopatra’s favourite hiding spots and once you’ve been, it’s not hard to imagine why. Stretching over 2km of the Alanya coastline, the soft, white sands have been attracting visitors for thousands of years and shows no signs of slowing down.
Kaptan’s Filika Restoran serves up some tasty homemade delicacies and is a great spot to watch the sun setting over the Med, while it’s definitely worth popping into Robert’s for an afternoon coffee.

Tucked away in Turkey’s national park, the white sands and turquoise waters here have made the Blue Lagoon (Olundeniz Beach) famous all over the world – and all over Instagram. Restaurants are dotted around the beach and offer everything from traditional Turkish food and popular English dishes.
The Blue Lagoon is also well known for its wide range of watersports, offering everything from snorkelling, wind sailing and paragliding.
