Beaches we love

If you didn’t know already, we love the beach. Nothing beats a romantic moment on the beach – whether that’s a full lazy beach day, a lovely moonlit stroll or an adventure to discover an untouched secluded cove. Whatever your idea of a perfect beach moment is, we’re here for it. But, where are you dreaming of for your next beach break? From beaches accessible only by boat to dreamy pink sands and a beach that changes its shape daily, take a look at a few of the beaches that we’re totally in love with.

Elafonissi Beach – Crete

Just when you think nothing can get more romantic than a blissful stroll on the beach, you stumble upon Elafonissi Beach. With its crystal-clear waters and unique pink sands (yes, pink sands!), it’s possibly the most romantic beach in the whole of Greece. Connecting mainland Crete to a small island nature reserve, Elafonissi Beach is a long sandbar strip creating a gorgeous shallow lagoon. Whilst this spot can be busy in high season, taking a trip towards the end of summer means that you can experience the unique rock formations and smell the wildflowers in peace. Pretty romantic if you ask us!

Sunset Beach – Dubai

How do you end a perfect day with your loved one? By taking in the most-perfect sunset, of course. Located behind the aptly-named Sunset Mall, Sunset Beach is one of the quieter beaches in the buzzing city of Dubai. So, whether you’ve spent the day soaking up the rays, exploring the golden city centre or discovering the world-famous souks, heading to this beach for the sunset is definitely the best way to enjoy a loved-up moment with your partner.

Akumal Beach – Mexico

Pristine white sands are met with bright turquoise waters and fringed with palm trees on this picture-perfect beach in Mexico. Just when you think this beach couldn’t get any better, you catch a glimpse of a sea turtle heading out to sea. This is a beach designed for total relaxation. Swim with sea turtles, soak up the sun on the porcelain sands and enjoy a refreshing cocktail from the comfort of your lounger. Ideal, right?

Navagio Beach – Zante

Sheltered by sheer cliffsides, this beach is only accessible by boat making it a unique experience before you’ve even got there. Sometimes known as Smugglers Cove and Shipwreck Beach, this stunning cove is located on the north-west coast of Zakynthos (Zante) and features an old shipwreck at its centre. The sands are powder soft and the water is a bright shade of turquoise making it a very popular beach day out. If you fancy exploring this beach when it’s a little quieter then make sure you visit in late summer/early autumn.

Playa d’Alcudia – Majorca

Playa d’Alcudia is the beach with it all. Whatever your style, whatever your plans, you’re sure to find your idea of the best beach day here in Majorca. A 7km sweeping crescent of alabaster sands and shallow waters is lined with plenty of hotels, eateries and bars. So, you can catch a bite to eat, try your hand at beach volleyball, get involved with a watersport or simply kick back and relax. It doesn’t get more perfect than that.

Zlatni Rat – Croatia

If your idea of the best romantic beach moment is getting out to discover somewhere new, then Zlatni Rat in Croatia could be just for you. Otherwise known as the Golden Horn, this small peninsular located on the south coast of Brac is a wonderfully unique white-pebble beach. Stretching out into the Adriatic Sea, the strong undercurrents and winds shape the tip of this ever-changing beach daily making every visit different to the last!
