In September, we proudly told you about our very first holiday app for iPhones. Now, just over a month down the line, we have an exciting new update!
We’ve made improvements to make searching for your perfect beach holiday even simpler. Check out our fantastic new features…
BE MORE FLEXIBLE
Not sure what date you want to go on holiday? Happy to go from a few departure airports?
We know that for a lot of customers, being flexible means keeping costs down, which is why you can now search for holidays 9 days either side of your chosen departure date to find the cheapest holiday. We have also introduced regional airport groups so that you easily find the lowest priced flight from your local airports.
Want to work out quickly what date to go on holiday? Our brand new, easy to use, calendar means you can easily see what day of the week you are selecting, as well as being able to click and drag to easily select the amount of nights you want to go for.
IMPROVED IMAGES
When choosing your holiday, the hotel is often the most important element in your search. It’s for this reason that we’ve worked to improve search results so both the hotel pictures and information are now much clearer.
We have also included full screen hotel images; all you have to do is tilt your phone into a landscape position on the hotel summary screen and you can then swipe between all of the Hotel photos in full screen. Simply turn the phone back to portrait to continue with your booking.
BETTER USABILITY
Here at On the Beach, we listen to feedback and always take it on board. We’ve therefore improved the party size selector to make it more user-friendly and hopefully improve customer experience.
