Well it’s that time of year again, the clocks go back and that’s it – we’re thrown headfirst into winter. Goodbye long summer evenings and hello to scarf weather.
On the upside, we’re looking forward to that extra hour in bed on Sunday morning. We could be doing something productive like a spot of autumnal cleaning, getting the CV up to date or putting up that bookshelf we’ve been meaning to do for the last year but let’s face it – it’s a Sunday. We’re staying in bed and trying to forget that winter is coming. But for now, forget the looming cold, we’re here to make you feel all warm inside and transport you to that happy place with eight images guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
1. Dogs
Why? Because, dogs. And if that isn’t reason enough to smile then I don’t know what is. Just look at this cute little puptain enjoying his first sailing holiday.

2. Holiday inspo
We all do it – scroll through Instagram dreaming of that holiday. Somewhere to get away from the rat race and put all troubles aside. But really, it’s just that we want to be somewhere warm. And anywhere warm is great right now, so how about here? The beautiful blue seas of Majorca are definitely a bucket list must. Just imagine waking up to that view… every day!
3. Food
We can’t be the only ones to knowingly spend a little bit more time than we should thinking about food. Making it through to lunch can be a struggle and hangry is a real emotion! So here’s a pic of an entire table of meats, cheeses and all things good.
4. And what goes so well with food?
Cocktails. On a beach. In the sun. Unless you’re lucky enough to live in one of those hot-all-year-round places then unfortunately this might not be practical 365 days of the year. But we can dream right?

5. Babies
If there’s one thing that is the epitome of ‘aww’ it’s babies. No one can deny that these little stink machines are awfully cute. Just listen to that laugh, it’s enough to make even the toughest and stone cold person crack a bit of a smile.
6. A perfect sunset
Ever witnessed the most perfect sunset? One that makes you stand still and just appreciate the moment. Warms you from the core doesn’t it? And it can’t get more stunning than a sunset in Santorini. We’re in love!

7. The perfect night in
Just add great company (and great wine) and this cosy little set up is the perfect setting for a romantic night away with your other half or a good catch up with friends. Do we really have to come back to work?
8. Melt your heart cuteness
There’s no reason for this one except just look at it. We have no words. A little bundle of fluffy cuteness. That is all.
