Description
If you're seeking a peaceful, relaxing break with a genuine small town feel, our luxury villas in close proximity to Newport Richey and Hudson are made for you. Here you'll find a complete contrast from Orlando with a more laid-back, peaceful lifestyle. The beaches are small, generally quiet and often hidden away, with many surrounded by nature reserves. The extensive sands of Tampa and Clearwater Beach are a 45 minute drive away, so you'll still have the option to explore the north areas of the stunning Gulf Coast.
Well worth a visit is the Crystal River State Park, home to a vast array of Florida wildlife including eagles, ospreys and manatees, as well as Homosassa Springs. To the south is Tarpon Springs, with its Greek influences still very much in evidence in its architecture, restaurants and its distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere. The Pithlachascotee River also runs through the centre of Newport Richey on its way to the coast, further enhancing the natural attractions of the area.
Newport Richey is slightly larger than the neighbouring community of Hudson, though both offer an ample selection of shops, bars and restaurants scattered along US Highway 19 to cater for a wide range of needs. Both of these small towns are primarily residential communities, however in recent years they have become a successful base for second homes and holiday villas thanks to their branding as "The Gateway to Tropical Florida".

Visa
UK passport holders require a valid passport for travel to the USA. Under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP), most British citizens do not require a visa for holiday, transit or business purposes providing their passports are machine-readable (bar code on the photo page), the stay does not exceed 90 days and a return or onward ticket is held. Holders of other UK passports do require a visa.
Electricity
Electric power is standardized in all states across America. It is set at 110 Volts and 60 cycles and standard electric plugs have two flat blades. If you take any electrical appliance to America, you may need an adaptor to fit the US electrical receptacles.
Jabs
There are no specific health risks associated with travel within the USA. Medical facilities are excellent, but expensive so medical insurance is essential.
