,Mareblue Cosmopolitan Hotel is located on the beach in Ixia, set on a hillside with a breathtaking view of Trianda Bay. The hotel is 14 kilometres from the airport and 3.5 kilometres from Rhodes Town.
,The beachfront Mareblue Cosmopolitan Hotel is an excellent All Inclusive hotel. The resident entertainment team and the on site children's club ensure younger guests are taken care of throughout their stay. The friendly atmosphere and excellent facilities make this hotel an ideal choice for a family holiday. On the beach, which is reached by an access tunnel, there are sun beds, umbrellas and water sports, all at extra local charge. The 377 rooms are located through a main building, a scattering of bungalows and a series of annex blocks, all surrounded by the mature, extensive gardens. Rooms are modern and comfortable with air conditioning (included mid June to mid Sept, payable locally in other months), satellite TV, music channels, Wi Fi access, fridge, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box (extra charge payable locally), bathroom with bath, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace.
Although the official rating is 4 stars we strongly believe that after the refurbishment of the rooms and the restaurant and now under the management of the famous Mareblue chain, the hotel deserves our 5 sun rating.

Visa
Many visitors to Greece will not need to obtain a visa for visits to Greece of up to 90 days.
Electricity
The power supply in Greece is 220 V AC at 50 Hz. You may require an adapter for the round two-pin sockets in use in Greece. Power cuts are not uncommon.
Jabs
All travellers are advised to ensure that tetanus and polio vaccinations are kept up to date. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from all travellers over one year of age coming from infected areas.
Weather
Avid sun seekers will be happy as like most other towns on Rhodes, Ixia enjoys a good temperature in the summer months, with the hottest being July and August. However, those who don't enjoy extreme heat will welcome Ixia's almost constant summer breeze, which sweeps in from the northwest. This has the effect of counteracting the heat, and so cooling the temperature to a median of around 22 or 23°, so everyone can keep cool - and still get that bronzed tan! In the evening though, the coolness will be more evident, but you'll still need only wear a T-shirt when going out.
Most hotels in Rhodes have swimming pools, so for those holidaying with children, or for weak swimmers, using the facilities of your hotel may be advisable over visiting the seashore, when the wind can make the sea quite rough.
