Accommodation

The hotel has 480 bedrooms and suites, tastefully decorated with sea, marina and golf view. Each guest room has private marble bathrooms, private balcony/terrace, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, mini bar, hairdryer, safety box, air-conditioning, heating and 24 hour room service, bathrobe and slippers upon request. As an extra, in all Meliton suites: VIP amenities, Korres bath amenities, hydro-massage in bath tubes, bathrobe and slippers. Marina

This unique private Marina of Northern Greece is the only one that is being awarded the European blue flag every year, for its clean waters. It is one of the most well sheltered harbors in Greece, with a 5 m (16 ft) draught and accessible to boats and yachts up to 55 m (148 ft) long. It has 315 berths, electricity (each berth - 220V AC, 50Hz), water, telephone, workshop where yachts can be repaired, shower toilets and other facilities. The Port captains office is available for any service or information required as well as security (24 hours) and fuel supply services. Meeting Facilities

Olympic Hall is the biggest and best equipped convention hall in Northern Greece and can seat up to 2.300 delegates. Todays modern road links Porto Carras to the city of Thessaloniki (120 km), to Thessaloniki International Airport ‘Macedonia’, and the nearby town of Neos Marmaras (3 km) where guests can come to a place endowed with natural beauty. There are varied sights to be seen such as Mt Athos: a vast Byzantine museum and the guardian of Orthodoxy, Petralona Cave: The citadel of paleoanthropology, where the cave of arhanthropos is located, Ancient Olynthos: Top city of the classical era, with the most organised urban planning system and Ancient Stageira: the birthplace of the philosopher Aristotle. Also, there are various fairs and events, such as Trade fair of Agios Mamas, the origins of which can be traced back to the Byzantine era, the carnival in Polygyros and in Simantra, the fair of Agios Panteleimonas in Parthenonas, the swimming crossing of Toroneos bay in Nikiti, towards the end of July and the olive festival in Olynthos.
