Comments:
Hotel very good, but the place is not so nice, nothing to see, horrible beach, sea with big stones impossible for children. Everything in town is so expensive. Not coming back at all.
Useful Tips:
Prices, they have prices for local and prices for tourists which are ten times more expensive and always ask for a menu when you eating out.

Comments:
If you yearn for hospitality second to none, barbecued sea bass and stunning sea and landscape, you could visit any Southern Turkish town. Alanya, though, has been a local stronghold for many Mediterranean-based empires, including the Ptolemaic, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman and as a result invites further exploration. This region was once ancient Pamphylia, a loose federation of Hellenistic cities established by incomers from northern Anatolia. According to ancient Greek sources, Pamphylia was settled by a "mixed multitude" of peoples following the fall of Troy around 1205 BC. It played a relatively minor role in the history of Anatolia, never even attaining local military significance, and stronger neighbours, amongst them the Lydians and Persians, fought over the Pamphylian cities for centuries. Mark Antony treated it as his personal domain until defeated by Octavius Caesar at the battle of Actium in 31 BC when Pamphylia was formally absorbed into the Roman Empire. Explore and eat!
Useful Tips:
Visit Manavgat district along the coast (the ancient cities of Side and Selge) and travel inland to Gundogmun, which is rugged and mountainous and possibly more stunning in poorer weather conditions. Must-sees also are Hadim and Taskent in the Province of Konya and Sareveliler in the Province of Karaman.

Comments:
Me and my boyfriend went to Alanya last summer and absolutely loved it! Stunning harbour, lovely beaches and a great selection of restaurants! We stayed a half hour walk from the harbour (in the Grand Okan), but had there is a lovely walk along the beach! More expensive than other places I have visited in Turkey (eg Calis, Oludeniz), but still cheaper than if we had gone to Spain/Greece. As I said- beaches were all lovely and clean, with massive waves and plenty of water sports. We went on two excursions, a boat trip which was amazing and a jeep safari. We did enjoy the jeep safari but too many people were packed into the jeeps, and with it being so hot and sitting with strangers it wasn't too nice! Some other people had payed for their own jeep, which would definitely be worth while if there is a family of you! Lots of Germans and Russians here, not many British people, could be good or bad depending on what you like. Over all a fab holiday, would definitely return!
Useful Tips:
If you are booking excursions, make sure you speak to a few different people first as prices varied hugely. Also, even if you want a particular excursion, tell them you will come back later and they will usually drop the price a bit to convince you to book with them!
