Taba Heights Holidays
Holidays
Taba Heights holidays will find you staying in one of the Red Sea Riviera’s burgeoning new resorts, situated at the top of the azure inlet of the Aqaba Gulf, which separates Egypt from Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The diving on offer here is perhaps the chief reason for most visitors on Taba Heights holidays, but there’s so much more to keep you entertained here. Golfing, watersports including windsurfing, and trips to the lush islands offshore, with exotic flora, fauna and aviary life help to keep things interesting on holidays to Taba Heights.
All this is a mere six hour’s flight away, plus a short drive from Taba Airport to your hotel beside the beach! So if a break away from the stresses of work and home sounds appealing to you, book your holidays in Taba Heights today and start looking forward to a rejuvenating break in the sun!
Weather
Amun Ra is working his magic here; constant sun and no rain means Egypt is a favourite for families, couples and friends alike, all year round! Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas by the pool with temperatures around 18° Celsius, or brave the dog days in July, with midday temperatures topping out over 40° Celsius. At least you can always cool off in the Red Sea!

Things To Do on Holidays
Holidays to Taba Heights will have you visiting the island of Gezirat al-Farun with it’s medieval fortifications paying simultaneous homage to both Islamic and Christian culture, and rumoured to be the biblical port of Solomon. You can visit the Pharoah’s Isle also to see the 12th Century castle of the Crusader’s greatest foe, the legendary Saladin. That’s not counting all the diving and that’s on offer: the waters around Taba here have some large coral reefs that can be plumbed, or viewed on a cruise on a glass-bottomed boat.
Things to do: Culture
Nearby Eilat, just over the border in Israel, has excellent markets and bazaars with all the touristy trappings including souvenirs of pottery, clothes and jewels. Closer to home, you can traverse the weekend markets at Taba itself for some delicious snacks, seafood and Egyptian pastries. There are plenty on festivals on down the coast in Sharm, so travel south in January for the Coptic New Year, or in May for the manic camel races!
Things to do: Nightlife
The casino here is open all hours at weekends and into the morning every other day, but you don’t want to go bust during your Taba Heights holidays you can spend your money in the many bars and restaurants in the 5 star hotels here. Nearby Sharm el Sheikh is the hub of the Red Sea’s nightlife, and clubbers will probably gravitate here for it’s non-stop partying, Hard Rock Cafes and quaint pubs. By Taba’s beach you’ll find grills and bars from which to watch the glorious sunsets.
Landscape
The translucent blue gulf waters here cut an azure swathe between the golden sands of the rocky beach and the mountains on the other side. Talking of mountains, a jeep safari into the rusty red monoliths inland is perfect for a panorama of the barren landscape, with the sea in the distance. Alternatively you could promenade over the resort for some fantastic modern architecture recalling ancient, Islamic and Coptic influences.
