Comments:
Barbados is a wonderful island with very hospitable Bajan people. The beaches are clean, fine sand and crystal clear water. Take a trip inland and you see the real way of life for Bajan people - housing is poor by our standards but I felt no animosity for our apparent wealth by their standards. Go to any cricket match and you just blend in wonderfully. We made a visit to St Vincent some years ago to watch England play the West Indies and a local man had the biggest cool box ytou could imagine - he wouldn't sell us a drink from his box, but happily handed us a cool drink two or three times. How is that for hospitality?
Useful Tips:
apart from all the good things mentioned above, crime is very low but bag snatching does occur.

Beautiful beaches, wonderful weather, friendly people, great food what more could anyone want?!
Useful Tips:
We like the west coast, but it is good to hire a car and see all of the island. Our favourite spots are Holetown, enough to do but not too hectic, the beaches around there are great and don't miss the Folkestone Marine Reserve especially good for snorkeling and only a ten minute walk from Holetown;Bridgetown is good for a day out very historical and easy to get there by bus,Oistins Fish Fry in the south or Merton's at St lucy are a fun friday night out. Go and have a look at the East coast, Atlantic side, very different to the east or south coasts but wonderful for surfing. Fantastic restaurants to try, personal favourite,The Cliff, mega bucks but worth every penny,The Beach House is good and ragamuffins on a sunday is fun. Try to go to one of the old plantation houses for sunday lunch, a real experiance and an insight into the past. Walk along the beach near Sandy Lane and see if you can spot any famous faces. Most of all relax, enjoyand chill out in beautiful Barbados.

Useful Tips:
