Playa Poniente is Benidorm's longest beach and attracts many holiday makers who flock to it's shores year after year. Located beyond the old town the beach is quieter than its neighbour 'Levante beach' and is defiantly worth a visit. Made up of golden sands and crystal clear calm waters its no surprise that the beach is popular with families especially with younger children who enjoy saver swimming conditions. The beach has a children's playground and offers daily activities to keep you entertained and for the more adventurous there is a choice of watersports available. The beach is within close proximity to many shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets serving delicious refreshments and if you don't want to move from your sun loungers you will often see local venders offering ice cold beverages directly to you on the sand.
