hotel was great, basic but clean, helpfull friendly staff, large rooms, would stay there again. had meal there on 'steak night' it was lovely, entertainment great. good location very central but no noise at night - you can go to calangute for noise if you want it.
Useful Tips:
take english money you can get a better deal on tailoring, dont change all your rupee's back to sterling at goa airport before departure lounge, there is two meal tarrifs one in rupees- cheap; one in sterling - expensive! use the goan tour shops for trips they are cheeper than your rep. there is a massive supermarket in candalim for all your shampoo/conditioner etc. dont give money to children begging - they have food and schools, if you give money thier parents keep them off school to beg - then they are uneducated! go to anjuna market its fantastic - food/drinks/clothes and anything else you can think of. huney bee is the local brandy, its great and its cheap! keep hold of your case when you get to goa. have a great time its worth the flight - see you all there in january 2010 at the paradise club- 70's & 80's music till 2am! x
