- The resort of Kalamaki was quite quiet in the evenings. The restaurants are welcoming and friendly and serve a good selection of food.
- Useful Tips:
- Check out the location of the holtel so it's not in the flight path for the airport as planes are arriving all day.

- For June the weather was fantastic and the beaches were not too busy. The locals were helpful and the food was fantastic. Plenty of local and regional food on offer in all of the Tavernas. The Island itself is beautiful and there are many beautiful beaches to find and explore. Ensure to hire a boat for the day and go around the coast line. There is much to see and do in Zante and I would not hesitate to recommend or to go back.
- Useful Tips:
- Take a trip to the Northern tip of the Island the views will not disappoint. Definitely take a boat trip around the island. Head inland and sample the authentic cooking in the small villages.

- was the most beautiful place, beach was great the locals where so friendly & weather was fantastic we spent a week there & it was so laid back that it felt like we were there fot a fortnight. its was more of a couples retreat the part we where at (Laganas) althou there was a part that was for the younger crowd, plenty of choice for all ages. would recommend this place to anyone. i've been there twice now l booked last one throu OTBeach which was a great hotel Best Western it was out of this world which was suprising for the price. Zante isn't expensive place plenty of things to do like a boat trip to see the turtles which was amazing & u've got to do the boat trip round the island see the dolphins if your lucky. Hope this might help someone choose Zante for their next holiday, hope you'se enjoy it as much as we did

- I stayed at the Louis zante beach in May 2009 with my husband and my two young daughters. The hotel was about 10 mins walk from the centre of laganas had a private section of beach which was beautiful! The rest of the beach is also nice with plenty of bars and restaurants backing onto it. Laganas strip itself is definitely aimed towards the young and single with plenty of bars, nightclubs and even a mcdonalds that stays open thru the nite! But there are plenty of good shops that sell some gorgeous shoes and clothes and some amusement places for the children. When we stayed in May the island had a heatwave and the temperature was in the 30's. All round a beautiful island, good weather and nice clean beaches!

- The turtles that nest on some of the beaches and the greek plate smashing nights that take place in some of the restaurants - a fab night out!

- I thought Laganas in Zante was amazing. Great weather, lovely boat trips and very clean.

- Go to Shipwreck Island it is beautiful.

- what a lovely place I stayed in Argassi but have been to Tsilivi too. Zante is warm friendly and inviting. The people are fantastic, they really look after you and the climate is lovely too. Would go back again and again, in fact have been there with my hubby and kids and back again with just hubby. Total visits in 10 years equates to 5. Loved it

- Have breakfast on one of the beach front cafes in argassi one is run by a lovely lady from England married to a Greek chap. Food is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Hire a bike and ride round the coastal road its beautiful, some of the island is like an english countryside its lovely. Go visit Kalamini beach its breath taking and so relaxing.

- I love Tsilivi because there is a lovely beach with the bluest sea you've ever seen. People are lovely. I especially like Sunrise which is on the outskirts but just a walk away from it really. Food places cover all choices but the atmosphere is the best of all Greek islands to me. Well worth 4 and bit hour flight!

- Must visit Smugglers cove and Turtle beach.
