A luxurious resort superbly located on the beach of Shark Bay, the famous diving spot, between Sharm El Sheikh airport (4 Km) and Naema Bay (7 km). Shark Bay is a part of Ras Muhammad National Park with superb snorkelling and diving attractions.

Accommodation

There are 470 rooms, each room is fully equipped with a private bathroom with shower and bath-tub, colour TV, satellite channels, mini-fridge, central air conditioning and a direct dial telephone. Safe deposit box at reception.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served at the Papeete, the Tahiti and at the Bora Bora restaurants. Extended buffet breakfast can be taken at the Bora Bora till 10:30. During meals soft drinks, beer and wine are offered (all by the glass or plastic cup). Also at the disposal of the AI guests with a discount on the total bill are the A la Carte restaurants from 19:00-23:00; Tai Pan (Chinese), Bamboutia (sea food), Delhi (Indian). A variety of snacks is available between 12:30 & 16:30 at the Da Angelo, Beach No1, Beach No3. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like cocktails (with or without alcohol), liqueurs, vodka, rum, brandy, gin, hot beverages, soft drinks, mineral water, juices, beer, wine, etc (all by the glass/cup) are served from 10:00-24:00 at the pool bar, beach bar No1 and at the Moorea lobby Bar (according to each outlet’s timetable).

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include beach volleyball, mini-football, aerobics, table tennis, squash, tennis & equipment (upon reservation), windsurfing once per stay, baby foot, billiards, international multilingual animation team offering competitions, games and beach activities as well as daily different shows at the pool, patio stage or discotheque and live music band every night at the lobby bar.

Chargeable Extras

Room service, laundry, telephone calls, car rental, gift shops, hairdresser, massage (reservation required), sauna, jacuzzi, internet, in-house doctor, disco, baby sitting (reservation with guest relations), frequently shuttle bus to Naama bay and billiards are available at a charge.

Amongst these are a jogging track, diving club, 400 metres of private beaches, aqua sports centre. There is also a lobby bar and lounge with relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers bank, a shopping arcade, beauty salon, car rental, travel services. Kids club facilities.

Please note that water sports are restricted due to preserved nature of beach with rich corals and snorkelling activities.

Useful Information on Distances

The hotel is located 4 km to the airport of Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) while there is a shuttle bus to Naema Bay for guests.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.

Please Note

Please note that a new hotel is being built 1.5km away from Pyramisa Sharm Resort. Works are taking place from 09:00-18:00. No heavy works are taking place now so therefore the disturbance is negligible. Guests are allocated far from works. Completion date remains unknown.
Additionally as of 16/01/2008 and approx until the end of 2008 the room type of villa area (garden view rooms) and some rooms in the main building will not be available due to renovation works.
