This hotel was fantastic my partner and I loved it. We stayed in the old part of the hotel but found that although we liked staying on this side the resturaunt in the new part and the bars were far better. The atmosphere in the new restaraunt was fantastic and the food was brilliant we enjoyed every meal. There is a choice of restaraunts and bars and we had no complaints. We shared a couples massage in the hotel Spa which was great and we also went Snorkelling with the hotels dive club. All my experiences on this holiday were positive and we will be returning although next time we will upgrade to the new side of the resort!!
Useful Tips:
Upgrade to the new side on arrival, the bars and restaraunts are much better!

Comments:
The hotel is an amazing place. It is split into two parts. The old part retains its original character and at the time of our visit was extremely clean and tidy. We actually stayed in the old part and had no problems whatsoever. It is the part closest to the beach and is approximately a 2 minute walk down a reasonably steep hill. It seems that a lot of people had issues with the walk up and down the hill but in truth after the excesses of copious amounts of good food and plentiful drink flowing it was welcom exercise. There is a shuttle bus which drives regularly from the beach to the reception area and then to the reception are of the new part for those less abled than to walk. The new part is out of this world. I have stayed in many different hotels in many different countries around the world and the lagoon type pool is amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff or bar members. Who ever let the Russians in need shooting
Useful Tips:
day trip to the blue hole with camel trip was great fun. The Q bar in the evening was fun but if you want a more relaxing drink in the evening the most amazing cocktails are made in the next bar with great entertainment from the bar staff. A walk outside the hotel to the local shops and nightclub are always a must. Naama Bay is an acquired taste and more touristy than I enjoy but is worth at least one visit and a drink from the roof top bar of camel bar is an essential part of that trip. The snorkelling at the house reef of the hotel is beyond none and even for an experienced diver was a real treat just be warned there are jellyfish right up to the shore edge so going for a paddle for youngesters can be risky.

We loved this hotel and its staff who were excellent. The food was varied and very good. 5 or 6 swimming pools were in the grounds all of which were well kept and very clean. The only problem was the lack of beach...as keen swimmers and dedicated beachies we found the terraced areas ok but missed having a sandy beach as the sea is reached via a jetty and when leaving the jetty I would think that the water is about 30ft deep. Fine for us but difficult if taking a child to this resort.
Useful Tips:
Sea is reached by Jetty, deep water. Not a sandy beach as is on a coral reef

The hotel is lovely, Its split into two sections, we stayed in the new section. The pools are massive never seen such big pools, all the rooms are facing the water and all are very well equiped inside, massive beds that are so comfy, best nights rest in a long time. The walk in shower was my fav big enough for a couples shower if you fancy it. lol They have three restaurants one on the new side and two on the other, my fav was the older side as you can walk between both restaurants so you could have your starter in one and your main in the other. The pool staff are friendly most of the time, they make lots of cocktails on request that taste really yummy. One All four of us got a touch of the egyption tummy but it didnt stop us having a really good holiday. The beach is really good, its a private beach for guests only. If you like snorkelling then this is the area for you. The fish are amazing lots of lovely colours. We booked a boat trip from hotel was amazing day, would recommed.
Useful Tips:
Wash your hands after touching the local currency as this carries lots of bugs and can cause tummy upsets. Visit the ice bar just down the road from the hotel its very cooling after a hot day in the sun.

This hotel was everything we could have hoped for. Clean rooms, wonderful view, great food and above all very friendly and efficient staff. They went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. We made use of both the new hotel and the old side where we stayed. Both were very different but great all round. If you want a great value, all inclusive hotel in a wonderful location then this is for you.
Useful Tips:
Make sure you use both the hotels ( a mini bus will transport you from one to the other if you don't fancy the little walk). Also make use of the Spa facilities, just the way to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. The service we recieved was first class. The food was really good and varied (travelling with two chefs who could do nothing but praise the quality!). The pools are like getting into a warm bath. And WOW the snorkling off the hotels beach was an experience I will never forget. The hotel is so well maintained and clean. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel at all and cannot wait to go back later in the year. 4 star hotel.....5 star service and holiday!
Useful Tips:
Use the hotels taxi service, the ones outside rip you off! Snorkle sets available at hotel for a returnable deposit. Girls.......look out for the well known branded hair straighteners, they are a fraction of the price over there!

Lovely hotel, had a great room in the original part by one of the smaller pools. Staff, facilities, food, grounds, drink - all very good. it was our first time to Egypt and we are already looking to book the same hotel for next year. Excellent value for money.
Useful Tips:
After reading reviews before we travelled, we had already decided not to upgrade to the new part - it was the right decision for us. The new part is great and if we had young children we would have preferred to stay there as the pool is spectacular and there is a small man - made beach for the kids. The original part of the hotel is lovely, lots of nice walk ways, shaded seating areas. The main pool is big and there are apartments around other smaller pools. The rooms were big, clean, had a mini bar, tv etc. The beach is nice the way it is stepped down the hillside and you can walk along the 'promenade' past the concorde and island view hotels. The snorkelling was fantastic, i had never seen fish like it. A must is the glass bottom boat booked from the beach, approx £12 well worth it. if you turn left out of the hotel and walk about 5 mins you come to Soho square where there are restaurents, bars inlcuding and ice bar, shops, fountains etc.
