Comments:
This was luxury incarnate, king size four poster beds, marble twin sinks, envy-inducing private hot tubs, and a stunning beach...what more could you want? Luckily we didn't have to pay for such splendour as I won it in a competition and we used it as a honeymoon. The staff can't do enough for you there and the hotel, although still being completed, is stunning. You're so spoilt there you feel almost guilty. Top tip, go in September as there are so few people visiting the Caribbean in hurricane-month that you get every one of the three pools to yourself & most of the beach! The Conciege Desk are particularly helpful, providing everything from dolphin watching trips to Piton climbs...to board games for the evenings if you so choose! The food was excellent & The Beach Club happy hour is highly recommended for the half-price cocktails, free local snacks, and the reggae band playing as the sun sets over Pigeon Bay...simply paradise.
Useful Tips:
The Piton climb is a 4 hour "must do" - you can see all the way to St Vincents on a clear day...not one for the unfit though! Also ask a member of staff to take you by private speedboat to Pigeon Island National Park.
