lovely hotel, very clean and food excellent. plenty of choice of food to pick from. rooms very spacious. going back in july 2010 for 11 nights all inclusive. staff are very friendly and helpful.
Useful Tips:
ask at reception when you arrive for information on renting a safe, this saves you walking back later up the stairs to reception.

Comments:
On arrival the foyet was breathtaking. This was my first real experience of a 5* hotel and I knew my family and I were in for a real treat! THe family room was clean, well presented and was a good size for myself, husband, two kids and a baby. THe a la carte restaurants were fabulous and the main restaurant provided superior food at all times. My baby had a food allergy and once i notified the manager the kitchen provided me with healthy, pureed food suitable for him whenever i asked for it. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The entertainment staff were fun but not too forceful in getting you to join in. The nighttime entertainment was ok, although the seating was a bit schooly, you had to sit in rows in front of the stage. There was a ball pit and rides for the kids although these were extra in the all-inclusive, which we hadnt bargained for and with 2 kids it did cost us a bit.
Useful Tips:
take use of the fresh towel exchange ever day

Comments:
Unusually for Tenerife, this hotel offers an all inclusive rate, which covers most of your food and drink, so it's great value. The accommodation is clean and fresh, with 2 huge swimming pools and a lovely atmosphere. Enterntainment is average. The drawbacks are that the main thing to do on site, in the evening, is at a bar which is not covered by your all inclusive deal. The food is ok (but not great) but that's fine for one week, perhaps not for two.
Useful Tips:
Costa Adeje is a bit away from Playa de Las Americas, so you'll need to budget 40 Euros for taxis there and back.

Comments:
we have been to this hotel twice and are going again feb 2010, it is one of the best all inclusives we have been to. If you want to chill out by the pool, read, sunbathe, swim, drink and eat great food then this is the hotel for you. Only complaint last year was that the infinity pool is adult only, and yet some dutch families didnt take note of the sign, and proceeded to the pool with their children!!! when they should of been in the family pool, but otherwise no complaints!
Useful Tips:
i would recommend to book the junior suites, they are larger than the standard rooms and you get a pool and sea view which is amazing. And you also get whirlpool in the bath.

Comments:
The Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje Tenerife is a little out of the way although there is no need to leave the complex as there is so much to do. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable and as stress free as possible. Sister hotel next door can be used in all inclusive and no special identity is required or asked for. Nice gardens, resturants but lots of steps
Useful Tips:
There is 7 blocks and to avoid the steps and hill go to the 4th floor in any block and follow the sign to Reception. The lift at the end of the 4th floor Reception or Lobby bar can be selected. A-La-Cart Resturants are booked on the Lobby Bar floor along with the Spa where towels (10e) deposit can be changed.

Comments:
We wanted a week of quiet relaxation and travelled after the Halloween Break, when there weren't so many school children. This hotel exceeded our expectations for an all inclusive holiday.
Useful Tips:
Be careful of VERY slippery tiling around pool area. Resort on a hill, covers a big area, so may not suit those with mobility issues. Excellent for families; couples might prefer to stay during term time, when quieter. Teenagers/young people will find boring.

Fourth time at this hotel and have always enjoyed it. Excellent standards of cleanliness and service. Surrounding area not very attractive but hotel does look out over sea and everything you need is there.
Useful Tips:
This was our fourth time at this hotel and once again we enjoyed every minute. I have two teenage boys and they had a good time although I think it is perhaps more suited to younger children. Standards of cleanliness and service as always excellent. Arrived Friday afternoon and this can be very busy and there is often a wait for the rooms to be ready. Most of the changeovers take place that day so be prepared to possibly have to wait until about 3-4pm before you can get into your room. Bit of a scrum for sunbeds in the morning with some people going out at 6 in the morning to stake their claim. However usually manage to get somewhere. Food is varied and the individual restaurants are the best. Have to book early in these otherwise you have little choice over time of booking. Recommend making your bookings as soon as you arrive on Friday. Particular favourites - asian, fish and mexican restaurants. 3 lovely pools to enjoy including infinity pool looking over sea. Will return again

Fantastic hotel, food amazing, facilities superb, booked a junior suite and it was really spacious. Lovely views and the hotel was so clean. All inclusive and all drinks served properly and in real glasses!!
Useful Tips:
The complex is literally in the middle of no where, a taxi into Las Americas takes 15-20 minutes and costs around 18 euros each way, bit pricey on a nightly basis if you are just going in for a wander. The nearest resort is a good 15 minutes brisk walk away, and is very small. If you want a relaxing holiday and don't mind staying in the complex it is ideal.

Comments:
Fabulous, The whole place was in pristine condition, including the rooms and the grounds. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and excessive amounts of it avalible all through the day, The AI drinks included a delicious local cava (bubbly), and the beer was tasty and refreshing. And we did not see any problems with hygiene at all. All rooms at the Bahia Principe have sea view, but on the other side you also look over the other hotels and the construction of a new one, we were on this side it didn't ruin our holiday but would have preferred to look out over the pool. Don't think there is extra charge for this so email hotel before going and request - you can only try!
Useful Tips:
We felt you need to be able bodied if you are going to walk around costa adeje and the surrounding area of the hotel as its on an slight incline. Local taxi Fanabe - approx 10 euro Local Las Americas- approx 12 euro
