- I think Los Cristianos is a good holiday destination for a winter sun break for a family or couple. It is considerably quieter than the neighbouring resort of Playa de las Americas but there are some really nice bars and restaurants to suit a slighly more relaxed holiday. Budget wise, holidays to this destination are often quite reasonably priced so it's easy to pick up a bargain. Recommended.
- Useful Tips:
- Be careful of those pesky timeshare operatives who will hand you a scratch card in the street then whisk you off to a timeshare presentation under the pretense that you have won something!

- We love Los Christianos and stay near Las vistas Beach where we are 2 mins from the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. The beach path walk i can recomend, we have walked from Los Christianos up to Torviscas which takes a couple of hours but worth it for the lovely views. Also Siam Park the newest water park is a great day out and Aqua land the older water park which has the dolphin show is also worth a look. There are also trips out of Los Christianos harbour to see the Whales and the Dolphins, they say you may see them if you're lucky..i've not met anyone that hasn't seen them yet!! Also lots of great restaurants in Los Christianos town...the list is endless
- Useful Tips:
- For families and water park lovers Look out for Siam Park and Aqua land, The beach path is great if you like a nice scenic walk , Dolphin and whale watching trip's from Los Christianos and also a euro a pint in kitty o shea's in peurto colon!! decent pint too!! lots of great restaurants in Los Christianos town and right through to Las Americas too many to mention.

- NICE & QUITE THE APARTMENTS WE WERE IN WERE GREAT THEY WERE THE "VIGILIA PARK" GREAT APTS A SUN ROOF WITH POOL CAFE BEDS & A VIEW TO LIVE FOR GREAT STAFF DONE WHAT THEY COULD TO HELP,TOP OF HILL MEANT TAXI BACK 3e APTS HAD BACONY &SEA VIEW &CLEAN.

- Can't believe how many people smoked in this area.(We are not smokers) In February there seemed to be a lot of people who were staying for a 6 - 12 week period whilst the weather was chilly in the uk. People were friendly, and we came across some nice restaurants, all different costs to suit all pockets.Los Cristianos is not top of my list as I prefer other parts of Tenerife a lot more but that may be because of the type of accomadation we chose and the time of year.
- Useful Tips:
- We stayed a little way up cardiac hill just past the spar, over the round about, nice walk to the town although you would have to be in good health. Wouldn't want to go up the hill any further!! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR E11 AND YOUR OWN INSURANCE TO COVER ANY EVENTUALITIES. THE ENGLISH PRACTICE NURSE WAS FAB THOUGH!! Most restaurants and bars have people outside trying to get you to eat , a bit of a nuisance but politeness and a smile is all you need as they are only doing their job.

- We stayed in Las Americas at Parque Santiago 4 on this occasion but have also stayed at The Vulcano. Las Americas is an all round great resort with something for everyone, the weather is great it hit low 32 most days of our stay in Sept. The Lucky lucky men can be annoying as are the chinese selling tat on the streets.

- Great meals, good excursions to volcano, water park, new animal park.

- Los Christianos is a lovely place. Eating out was expensive as was drink in some places. Walk through to the start of Las Americas through the tunnel and keep walking and you'll come to lovely shops etc.in Las Americas.Good for people with mobility problems, ramps everywhere.
- Useful Tips:
- Irish times bar - great bar, great music, good prices. Zara ,Mango, Springfield etc. shops all through the tunnel in Las Americas.
