We set about finding a way to tell everyone about On the Beach in a 30 second commercial. We met the fabulous creative advertising agency CheethamBellJWT, who took on the challenge of making On the Beach famous for beach holidays. When you think beach holiday, we want you to think – On the Beach.
We were blown away with what they came back with and knew it was perfect for On the Beach. They had created an entirely new word to capture the sense of beach holiday awesomeness – Beachin’!
Our ad launches Boxing Day on ITV and Channel 4 in the Midlands region and we hope everyone likes it as much as we do!
Alistair Daly, Chief Marketing Officer commented, “Over 900,000 people have booked their holiday with us this year. However, there are still lots of people that haven’t heard of On the Beach. We believe that 50% of holidaymakers still start their holiday research on the high street and we need to let those people know about us.”
Tanasè Rivers, Brand Manager said, “Our customers can save on average £192pp versus high street travel agents, we have a massive range of flights and hotels, we’re ATOL protected and our great low deposit scheme means you can pay off your holiday bit by bit, with the final balance due only 2 weeks before you fly – surely people should at least check us out when researching their next beach holiday!”
